The area is still recovering. You have to eat at the hotel or from a food truck. Great beach. The pool area is small. Still under reconstruction in the hotel.

Taking into account of most buildings in area still in rebuild or renovating from destruction of hurricane, I got there just in time when DiamondHead completed their outside bar and eating areas on ground level. We had no issues at all.

Had a great time with the family, the beach area was deviated by hurricane Ian and is still recovering, so there wasn’t a lot of options close by, that’s why wasn’t all 5 stars but I would definitely recommend the resort, quiet great rooms, and dining on site fun pool beach and bar on site. Hope the rest recovers it was a different experience.

Property is located on beach with view of Gulf of Mexico. Has been recently renovated and our unit was very nice with the exception of the mini fridge and toilet. The fridge was missing its temperature control knob which caused our food and drinks to freeze. Maintenance was notified and attended promptly. They attempted to turn the temperature controller down with a pair of pliers, however this didn’t accomplish anything. The toilet would continually run when flushed. Again, maintenance attended to the problem promptly and changed the flapper and adjusted the flush arm. The toilet would continue to do the same thing unless you jiggled the handle. No big issues and we lived with it. The pool was great and relaxing. Staff friendly and helpful. The resort is still completing some renovations of its poolside bar and dining. We would definitely visit again in the future.

The property is beautiful and still doing some construction due to the hurricane. We had an amazing weekend at the Diamond Head and plan to return soon!

Fort Meyers is still recovering a bit, but we still had a great trip. Diamond Head is fresh off some remodeling, and we would definitely stay there again.

We were surprised at how well the area has recovered after hurricane Ian in 2022. Yes, there are a lot of missing buildings in the area, but there are a lot of things open. Our hotel was great!

We had a great time! We stayed here before the hurricane and so happy it was open again with everything we needed. The pool was open, they had a bar, there was a coffee truck, convenience, and easy walk to the heart of the island with all the shops. We wanted bikes across the street and had a wonderful time!

The lack of multiple elevators to the guest rooms made it tedious to go in/out of room. But, it’s all related to the new construction of rebuilding. The staff was very friendly and very helpful.

The property was still recovering from last years hurricane so some facilities missing and the suurounding area really suffered with lack of amenities. However staff were lovely pool area clean and plenty of loungers and we would love to return again to see how the area has rebuilt itself

Vicki at the front desk is amazing! She was so nice and pleasant throughout my stay! I loved the pool area and beach access. Maybe better fun music at the pool instead of constant country music! Overall, I had a wonderful experience at the resort!

Nice pool area with bands and great bartender. Easier access from pool to beach area would be nice. Also, there is no outdoor shower to rinse sand off from the beach. All the rooms have a nice balcony area but ours had the compressor for the a/c which was very loud. Also, people in a room nearby were smoking on their balcony and basically, management said they weren’t supposed to but did nothing about it.

Loved the property. The pool was great along with the atmosphere. The restaurant and bar was good and we liked the entertainment they had. Once the lower bar is finished it will be really great. In the rooms I would suggest adding another mirror for example in the bedroom and additional towel racks in the bathroom. Otherwise we had a fantastic time.

My family and I had a great stay. There was still remodeling going on from the hurricane but it didn’t affect our stay. The hotel was still clean and quiet. It was close to all of the activities but away from the hustle and bustle. We would definitely stay here again.

Stated the “beach bar “ was open. WhT they didn’t say is they turned the restaurant/ bar into this. I Only booked because of the beach bar and my husband and I were beyond disappointed. Considering this was for our 25th wedding annv.Also, everything closes at 9pm. No store . This is definitely not what I consider a “resort”

This property was still under repair. It also was missing a restaurant. On top of that they were selling day passes to pool etc. No room for actual guests. Poor beach rental program. Horrible traffic. Virtually impossible to get on or off island or go to other areas os Ft. MYERS BEACH.

The pictures on Expedia's and Diamond Head's websites do not reflect the actual post hurricane conditions. A good portion of the common area are still under construction. The pool bar was open on Thursday, but not Friday, Saturday, or Sunday, which is backwards. Since the weekend was the busiest time at the pool. The staff was great and was very attentive.
