It was fine for the price paid! They are still trying to recover from the storm but are almost done. Their Swedish showers are a bit confusing to use! It was clean!

We loved staying at the Dolphin Key Resort. It's a cute motel that is extremely clean, well decorated and comfortable. The pool area is great and it's nice having the tiki bar accessible. We were able to walk to several dining options somewhat nearby and it was about a 30 minute ride to Fort Myers Beach. We would gladly stay here again!

It was convenient for my family. I love that it had a Tiki bar, its serve breakfast and lunch. It is located in a busy downtown area. Very convenient to walk into the main strip where there are lots of different shopping, banking, and things to do.

I really like this hotel, it suits my needs when I’m in the area. I currently use the dolphin key 2 times a year. It’s located near tons of restaurants I stay for the Florida Half Century Softball. I love the pool and tiki bar.

My stay at Dolphin Key was very nice.This hotel still has the old school vibe with an updated flair!The staff was excellent. They were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. There was a restaurant on site that had good food at great prices. I don't drink but they also had great happy hour for those that do!😊 I will definitely be back when in the area!🌞☀️

Stayed only for one night therefore can only review for the limited time spent. We arrived late and the reception was closed but when we called the hotel number was answered promptly and directed to the key Safe to get our room key. The room was a very generous size and clean. The bathroom was clean with all the to toiletries. The bed was comfortable and slept well. Would definitely go back if in the area.

the only staff interaction I had was check in, and the ladies were quite nice and allowed me to check in early, which I really appreciate since I was in town for work, being able to go to my room early instead of working from a Starbucks was a very nice thing. Unfortunately, that's where the positive ends. There's a tiki bar on the backside of the motel-lets call it what it is. The room I was given was directly next to it. The motel is clearly old, but the rooms have been somewhat updated and were at least clean. There was a band advertised to be playing in the tiki bar 6 to 9. I was initially interested in that. I'm a gigging musician myself so I feel qualified to say the mismanagement of volume was completely unprofessional. I left and went to my room. The drums and bass shook my whole room. They played until nearly 10 and that was followed by various noise from drunk patrons. Normally I'm totally fine with these things, I'm around them all the time at my own gigs, but I had been traveling since 5 Am and had appointments starting at 7 AM the following day. I managed to get about a 3 hour nap once the music and hollering of the drunks finally stopped. If you're on vacation and looking for a party atmosphere, this place is probably fine. I was there for work purposes and it was the only hotel room available in Cape Coral for under $300 for the night so I didn't have much choice. If faced with that scenario again, I'll just get a room in Fort Myers and drive up for work.

Dolphin Key was very convenient. It was fun having the Tiki bar on site. The music was good. Tina at the bar was great. Meghan at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. Rob the maintenance man was vey interesting to talk to. The lock on the door was sticking and he got it fixed right away. Dolphin Key is not the fanciest place but we would go back.
