I had a work related stay where I held a workshop there am also stayed for 3 days. It was excellent in every way.

Pros: Location and staff
Cons: redo the interior, floor by floor
hotel needs to be refurbished. Showers old,doors don't fit, grout dirty, and walls look like they are from the 70s. Staff was good and people working breakfast were extremely nice.

Pros: Hank at the front desk was warm friendly and helpful . The bed was incredibly comfortable.

My family and I spent 4 nights. We were in town, sadly, for a funeral. The hotel staff was extremely accomodating, the room was immaculate, and the breakfast was perfect, with plenty of hot and cold options for all taste. We will stay there again, hopefully under better circumstances.

Hotel is not in a scenic location but fantastic value for money. Room was clean and tidy with breakfast and WiFi included. It was an easy drive down to Sanibel Island and back. Hotel staff were very polite and friendly. Could not fault it for the price.

One of the bed sheets was partially wet and not smelling well after we check in. We put clean towels on top of the sheets as we were rushing to leave for an engagement.

My family and I stayed at Hampton Inn last week and loved it! The staff was very friendly and we saw the same faces almost every day. They were doing some remodeling and by the end of our stay the place looked great. The breakfast was simple but pretty healthy and delicious. Cape Coral beach was only 10-15 min away and Fort Myers was about 25 minutes away but the drive was definitely worth it to have a nice quiet place to stay. We will definately be staying here again!

I can't say that the overnight stay in the Hampton Cape Coral/Ft.Myers was unpleasant. However, I have stayed in better. The overall quality of the rooms is not as nice as some. They were installing new carpeting and working on the breakfast area so I am sure the hotel is doing all they can to improve. They did not offer complimentary bottled water as other Hampton's have in the past. But generally, I would stay there again and it was certainly a reasonable price for night. I asked for a receipt and the young lady told me they couldn't give me one since I had booked the stay on Expedia. I know that others have happily supplied me with a receipt showing that I had actually spent the night there. All minor details but these small matters do impact the reaction a traveler has on the hotel experience.
