We have stayed extensivly in the Holiday Inn hotels, and we found that this hotel was one of the best ever!!!! Your staff was professional,polite and yet very fun to socialize with. This hotel should be a focal point for others to be trained from (customer service).

“Planning on returning”

We had a wonderful time and loved the location of this hotel. The Dolphins played by the shore everyday and the sand is like suger. It did get very cold for florida the last two days of our trip but we amused ourselves by taking a trip through the everglades. All in all we are planning to return to the holtel sometime soon.

“Enormous, uncrowded beach location”

If you are okay with clean, friendly 2-star+ accomodations, this is a nice hotel. It is at the far end of Ft. Myers Beach so it has a bit more peace and quiet during the day. The beach is enormous, with pristine white sand, and you can rent chairs and umbrellas and feel like you own the place. The afternoon and evening Spring Break enterainment at the Tiki Bar restaurant was exceptional for middle-aged folks, but my college age son needed to go to the main part of town to see people his age. Ft. Myers Beach has many restaurants, ice cream shops, shopping options, beach and water activities, but the single main drag through town gets very backed up in the evenings as people are trying to get to dinner. Leave plenty of time to make your dinner reservation. I'd return to this hotel again for a wonderful beach escape.

“Great access to the beach”

I think there may be cheaper places to stay that have access to the beach, but this was worth it. The pool was warm as well as the weather was unseasonably cool. Getting off the island via the north access is tedious, but that laos says something about the popularity of FM Beach.

“Enjoyed the Holiday Inn”

Enjoyed everything about the Holiday Inn at Fort Myers beach. The only negative was that the weekend band was very loud - even if in the hotel room with the door shut. However the music very good (60s) and it quieted down around 10:30 or 11 PM. We will definately go back. Great beach, great pool, great location of the beach (southern end of island), close to shopping plaza. We used the refrigerator in the room for breakfast, lunch, and drinks. We were there in February and the temp was a little below normal (65 to 68), but we got a few days of tanning in. OVERALL NICE JOB H INN

“STAY HERE!!!!!! Perfect hotel for the price.”

The hotel is right on the beach as it says. It has two bars / restraurants one is outside next to the pool and one inside called Pinchers. Excellent food. breakfest, lunch and dinner. Prices are good. DO NOT charge to your hotel bill pay each tab. You can rent Jet Ski's right there. Pool is heated something we didn't know... lol. Do not walk on the beach bare foot there are lots of sea shells which are fun to pick up on a sunset stroll on the beach. Bring a camera sunsets are amazing... Evening on the weekend they bring live local bands to play in the bar. Pretty good and they get the crowd into it they knock off at 10 because of the hotel. The hotel is pretty far from all the shops but for 50 cents you can take the trolley down which saves on the pain of parking and traffic. Trolley stop is near the hotel. Best Pizza in the world comes from a shop just across the street called Sandbar. Best bar around is the Light house Tiki Bar. We stayed in a room which was directly across from the pool and the bar. Never heard a thing the entire time. If your traveling from out of state rent a car you will need it and not regret it. Airport is a good 45 minutes from the hotel. Easy to find with GPS.

This hotel is a great value for a standard Holiday Inn-style room. Our 5-night stay was flawless. The staff was courteous, well trained and efficient. The room was very clean, comfortable and well stocked with fluffy towels, soaps and coffee. The breakfasts in the restaurant were very good and the wait staff were friendly and efficient. The beach was a short walk over the white sand, but not too far for us. We found pretty shells and watched a dolphin chase a fish almost to the water's edge. (really neat) We were happy to have read earlier reviews before choosing this Holiday Inn and we are recommending it highly to others who want an affordable, comfortable, and pleasant place to vacation.

“great family spot”

enjoyed our stay at ft myers. very nice beach big enough to let our son 1.5 yrs old run around and not worry about him running into others. for 50 cents you can hop on the trolley to the other side of the island for shopping and great dining. The tiki bar had great live bands and cut off at a resonable time to put the little one to bed. rooms were great nice king size bed and very clean and up to date.we had a king size room poolside on the second floor great views of pool and ocean from the chairs outside my room. I will stay there again when i return.
