“Homewood hilton”

We stayed in a nice one bedroom suite. This was a non smoking two bed unit on the first floor. The room even though it was nicely housecleaned saw better years. There was an old somewhat moldy smell coming from the carpet. Also refrigerator was pretty old and was making loud noise at times. The staff was very nice and helpful. We had a free breakfast and "Home welcome" dinner. 70% of the meat was pork related(ham, meatballs, pulled pork). If this is a problem for you you might consider alternative places to eat in/out. The "home welcome" dinner was a nice surprise. They even had wines and beer for guests. Room had a nice interior design, 2 flat screen TVs, free WiFi and a clean bathroom. Overall I would rate it 3 out of 5. If there would be no smell in the room, I would lift up the rating to 4 with no hesitation.

“Terrible wi-fi connection in the rooms”

The hotel was fine enough. My room was clean, breakfast was decent. I was quite disappointed by the location, which was next to a shopping mall and not much else. I asked the front desk clerk to recommend a non chain for dinner and he could not do so, nor could he recommend a place to walk around that wasn't at the mall. Disappointing. When I checked in I was given the wi-fi password and told I would have a connection in my room. However I could not connect. When I was leaving I told the person and the front desk who said "Yes, many of the rooms don't have strong connections." I felt slightly mislead on this part. Overall, my stay was fine. I wouldn't stay there again but it was decent.
