Had a comfortable stay. Not bad if you have to be away from home.

The hotel was in need for repair. Only one ice machine was working. The room needed to be maintained. The hotel did not have refrigerators in standard rooms. In the summer time in Florida that should be standard in each room. The staff made a great effort to keep everything clean.

The price per nite was very reasonable compared to other hotels in the area, and all the comfort of home were readily available....free wifi, breakfast in the morning.....the room was clean, bed was comfortable and fresh towels were laid out in the washroom. A good nights sleep without noise. Would recommend and would stay there again.

The room was very clean, the staff was friendly and all of that for a low price. We can not complain about anything

You get what you pay for. Fine for a low-budget motel.

“Ok for the price”

My husband and I recently moved to the area and needed a place to stay for a week until we found an apartment for rent. We went with Howard Johnson because the price was reasonable in comparison with nearby hotels, and they offered the free breakfast in the morning. But an FYI I got a better price through Expedia online then I did directly with the hotel. The staff were always very friendly and helpful. The room was nice, but there were a few things that needed replacing. As far as cleanliness, the room was very clean, but one morning I went to open up the towel and there was a clump of someone elses hair folded up inside the towel. Breakfast was ok but total carb overload - waffles with syrup, toast, honey buns, orange juice and coffee. The only thing slightly healthy was the raisin bran cereal.! But overall we were happy with our stay.

there was no hot tub at the pool which would have been nice. other than that the overall stay was nice and afordable.
