Ordentliches Flughafenhotel

Posted May 27, 2015

Don't like the pet policy.

Posted May 9, 2015
Pros: Convenient location, beautiful indoor pool, friendly staff, consistent La Quinta quality and comfort, modern, well-designed and built hotel building.
Cons: If you're going to cater to pet owners, provide a purpose built kennel/pet facility away from non- pet guests, or go exclusively pet traveler.
Location: Near southwest Regional Airport, florida Gulf Coast University.
Needed to get to bed early for a good night's sleep before an early wakeup the next morning. Went to bed at about 8:30 pm. As we settled in for sleep, the dog in the next guest room began barking. To make matters worse, it was a breed with a high pitched, rapid-fire bark that went on and on. We called the hotel staff, who told us that they would contact the guest/pet owner and resolve the problem. Staff called back about five minutes later, reporting that they had notified the owners that their dog was barking and that they needed to do something about it. The guests, who were not at the hotel but out for the evening assured they would make the barking stop when they returned to the hotel. The problem with that...we don't know when they're going to get back, or what they're going to do to prevent the dog from barking thru the night. Muzzle it? Worse? The other option we were offered was another room. Despite being unpacked and in our pajamas, we didn't want risk a night of disturbed sleep, so we agreed, after asking if the room offered was next to the elevator and vending area. After being assured that it was not "next to" the elevator, we agreed to move. When we arrived at the replacement room, it turned out to be not next to the elevator, just next to the elevator foyer, which can be worse if guests using the elevator don't keep their voices down. The point being that staff mis-lead us by omission. At that point it was too late to object, so we just took our chances.

Excellent stay for the price

Posted May 7, 2015
Pros: the little lizards running around lol
Cons: Nothing
Location: Shopping or eating
Mary Jane, the desk clerk was very friendly and helpful. Steve the man was great getting breakfast going for those with early flights. No one should complain about the breakfast menu because there is something for everyone; cereal, waffles, fresh fruit, yogurt, toast, bagels, oatmeal, muffins and the list goes on. We will definitely not hesitate to stay there again next year.

The initial key card given me did not work requiring d a trip back down to the front desk. A ceiling fan ran all night and I cold not shut it off. Requested change of a $20 at the front deck to tip the shuttle driver; they couldn't provide any singles. These are all just small annoying problems. Otherwise the hotel was fine

Stadthotel in der Nähe des Flughafens

Posted Mar 27, 2015
Pros: Gute Ausstattung und Sauberkeit
Location: Am Flughafen

Great Place to Stay

Posted Mar 23, 2015
We were at Ft. Myers for a week and really liked this hotel for good location to various things we wanted to do. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was adequate for what we wanted. If you want a full breakfast then don't expect the hotel to provide it. Place was quiet and off the main highway, but easy to get to. We'd definitely stay there again if in the area.
