“Going back for a repeat next year!!!”

The location is the best! Close to Times Square, resturants, puplic tennis courts, shopping and the BEACH. The afternoon entertainment at the beach bar was extremely entertaining. Very competetive rate. The desk staff was very accomodating-giving me extended check-out and printing out my boarding pass for my flight home.

“Best hotel on beach”

This hotel was exactly what we were looking for in a spring break hotel. The room was large and was right on the beach. A tiki bar with live entertainment 7 days a week, a restaurant serving beach fare and a full service roof-top restaurant and spring- break "contests" without having to leave the resort. The beach is cleaned daily. Jet ski and para-sailing rentals right there. This is not a luxury resort, but is the central, party place to be location of Fort Myers beach without question.Staff was very helpful. Would stay again.

“Worst Hotel on the beach”

I don't know where to begin with all the things wrong with this Hotel. For family travelers or women alone this is NOT a place for you. The room was filthy, no hot water in the shower and I couldn't even close the sliding door. I found the hotel staff that I dealt with to be rude, and the security questionable. Ft. Myers Beach has a lot to offer, but NOT this hotel. I wouldn't stay there again if they paid me!

“Beach Trip”

Very good hotel if you dont plan on spending a lot of time in the hotel or you if want to spend time in the hotel to enjoy the much, food, and bar. Hotel could use an upgrade but what was there was clean and comfortable.

“Fun spot to stay”

Staff was very nice from the front desk, to the lounges and resturants. Hotel is old, but a fun place to stay if you want fun and not so fancy.

“Love the Lani Kai”

If you're looking for peace and quiet, the Lani Kai is not for you. If you're looking for a place where you can have a good time and noise doesn't bother you, you will love it there. The entertainment was good and the food at the hotel restaurants is great and reasonably priced. Employees are very nice and helpful. Any thing you need is within walking distance. I have stayed there twice and can't wait to go back!

“Great Experience”

I stayed at the Lani Kai with my mom the first week in February (Sat.-Sat.). We loved it there. For reference- she’s 59 and I’m 30. We made it a point to go early in February to miss the spring break crowd. If you Google pictures of the place, you can see how crowded it gets during spring break. The hotel is showing its age. It’s not rundown, but there is wear and tear. The room was clean though and I wasn’t in Florida to spend time inside. The property gets fairly loud, especially Thursday through Sunday. Not an issue for me since I was usually at the bars until midnight, but something to be aware of. The staff is wonderful. If you see a security guy in a cowboy hat and boots, introduce yourself. His name is Bo and he’s awesome. My mom and I felt totally safe. The bartenders remembered our names. They didn’t have the “I hate people from up north who spend winters here” mentality that you can encounter some places, and they weren’t just nice because they wanted tips. They really made the experience for us. The crowd was a fun mix of people- mostly couples ranging from late-20s to well beyond retirement age. I saw very few children. You can rent a chair on the beach for $6 or you can set up a towel or sit at the tables closer to the hotel for free. There are 3 bars and live music on site. The entertainment is good. If you’re deciding whether to save money and stay inland or splurge to stay on the beach, stay on the beach. The traffic on and off the island is insane.
