Do not stay here

Posted Jan 23, 2015
Pros: It was on the beach
Cons: Everything. The noise of the bar, a major update on the rooms, Friendly staff
Location: The Gulf, need I say more?
Once we pulled up we could tell we made the wrong choice. The neon lights and tacky painted front is the first thing that welcomes you. We parked in the “checking in” area behind another car and went upstairs to the unfriendly staff and checked in. Walking in, the bar noise is very loud. As we came back down to our car there the staff rudely told us we were not supposed to park there. We drove around the parking lot twice before we got a spot of a car that was leaving. On our way to our room, we shared an elevator with a band member (with gear) who was going to the roof top bar; he mentioned he would be playing until 1:30AM. Walking into the room, I first noticed the sticky floor. The room and bedding were outdated. I opened the balcony for the view (why we chose this place) which was nice, but it had cheap plastic patio furniture and the noise again from the bar downstairs and the smell of cigarette smoke. We knew that the noise from the downstairs bar would move upstairs in a few hours. The walls were thin and could hear everything outside even when the balcony was closed. I was instantly on my phone looking for other hotels. We walked down the beach and came across a nice hotel. About an hour after checking in, we checked out. They were nice enough to refund our money for the second night after I called Expedia and requested, but could not resell the room for that night. I did not care, I wanted out of that place! If your goal is relaxation and the beach, DO NOT STAY HERE

Good hotel in a convenient area!

Posted Jan 23, 2015
Pros: Convenience! Restaurants!
Cons: Things are a bit run down...the doors are dented. The curtains are bad. The colors are tacky.
Location: SO MUCH TO DO! This hotel is in the "it" spot of Fort Myers Beach!
Good hotel for the price. Band played every night until after midnight, so things were a bit loud. We had to close the balcony door at night which was a bummer! We wanted to hear the ocean waves as we slept. The beds were good. The room was clean. We got exactly what we paid for! The hotel had good food for great prices, especially breakfast! The location was also top notch! Very close to the pier and Times Square for shopping and eating. Great restaurants in the area!!! We would definitely stay there again.

We enjoyed our stay at Lani kai .

Posted Jan 22, 2015
Pros: We liked just about everything about the hotel.
Cons: It would be nice to have safes in the room. And in our room we had to sit or lay on our bed to see the TV.
Location: Good location. We could go to the beach, eat at different eating places, walk to shops, and drive to church on Sunday.
It was nice being right on the beach. We thought the staff were pleasant. It was nice to have both of the restauarts so close, and the small snack bars on the ground level. Our room was always keep clean. All & All we were pleased.

beautiful view, but music blaring

Posted Jan 22, 2015
Pros: the view, the staff and wait staff, and the food in both restaurants.
Cons: the music need to stop banging MUCH MUCH earlier at night. and the walls need to be thicker so you can't hear the screaming from room next to you
Location: great location if you want to party and play beach games, not every body does........but you have to hear about it all day and night anyway.
beautiful view, but LOUD music blaring right under our room until 230 AM in the middle of the night. A nice place to visit but not a nice place to stay.

Noisy, dirty, old.

Posted Jan 15, 2015
We were suppose to be at this hotel for 3 nights, but only spent one night, 12 hours maybe. The beds saged badly in the middle and we wondered if the bed linens were clean. Could not possibly recommend this place. When I asked the front desk about a better room, they informed me that we were alread in one of their better rooms!
