Beautiful hotel on the beach

Friendly, helpful staff...the hotel motto is "The only thing we overlook is the beach." Totally agree! I would highly recommend the dolphin tour on wave runners.

Leaving was hard, booking again!

Pros: View, staff, location
Cons: Nada
Location: Nervous Nellies is the best, Doc fords as well, yucatan bar, SOB bar great times!
Pink Shell is amazing! The best wait staff and all. I'm already looing to go back as soon as we can with our daughter this time. The beach is clean and the view is spectacular, if you like shells there's no shortage. This is one of the most enjoyable vacations we have ever had. Close to the party but far away for peace and tranquility. Booked a charter fishing trip with Clarence Reed from Sea Reed Charters and it was the best day ever for snook and sea trout! My wife totally enjoyed the spa and she owns one. People are fantastic there, you will love it!

Great family atmosphere.

Posted Apr 6, 2014
Pros: Friendly staff who really wanted to see us have a great time.
Location: Walking distance to Fort Myers beach (times square), trolley stop out in front of the resort. Very conveniently located.
We chose this resort specifically for a nice family atmosphere at the beach during spring break. We wanted to be close enough to walk into Times Square from the hotel, but far enough away as to not be in the thick of the activity for spring break. This resort was great. The staff was attentive and we felt they really wanted to see us have a good time. The breakfast buffet was really nice. We enjoyed every aspect of our stay.

We will be back

Pros: everything! The bathroom was gorgeous too. I like that they put the vanity outside of shower/toilet room.
Cons: Maybe they could offer more snacks poolside, like nachos, pizza, cookies, whatever.
Location: Ft. Myer's Beach downtown is fun! Lots of restaurants ; indoor/outdoor seating. Lots of beachy shops.
Husband and I stayed at Pink Shell for 5 nights. Perfect. I'm honestly not sure where to begin. If you're going to Ft. Myer's Beach, this is the place to stay. It is quiet, clean, comfortable, friendly and beautiful! All different types stayed here. Who was NOT here were the spring breakers. Pink Shell has a restaurant "Bongos" open for lunch and dinner at reasonable prices and good food! Jack's is a separate restaurant at Pink Shell that is only open for breakfast buffet. Our package included free breakfast for us every AM. It's open 7:30-11:00. The breakfast buffet is wonderful and always well stocked no matter what time you get there. Our room was in Sanibel Building ; We had a king sized bed; Most comfortable hotel bed ever. The decor is beautiful and the kitchenette has everything one could think of. It even had colorful Fiestaware dishes! The room had a coffee pot so we had coffee in our room , in our private screened in porch every AM before we went to Jack's for breakfast. Every room faces the Gulf. To come from cold , dreary wisconsin where winter will not seem to end, and sit in that lanai and listen to the waves , while I am WARM- was just a treat. The pools are warm and inviting as well. Very clean. Plenty of loungers.

Wonderflul stay

Pros: Well maintained. Can't say enough about staff and willingness to please. Bowitch (sp?) Park right next to Sannibel Bldg. was nice.
Location: Town had lots of shops and restaurants. We enjoyed all our meals. Ate at SOB's, Nervous Nellies, Mandazzos (sp?) and some others.
Stayed in Sannibel bldg. Beautiful view from 4th floor. Room very clean and pleasant. Tableware (even a corkscrew) if you need it, cooktop, microwave and mini-fridge. Breakfast at Jack's was excellent with many choices. Bongos is a casual poolside restaurant and bar with inside seating also. Food there was also very good and prices were similar to restaurants in town. Staff very hardworking and always courteous. Walk to town via beach or street, less than a mile each way (i think). We rented kayaks in the bay and had a great time. There were dolphins swimming in the water near us. Did the boat tour to Picnic Island. Could have done without that. People camping on island and garbage strewn about. We rented bicycles at the resort. They were beautiful new bikes. We found out right as we were getting on bicycles (after we paid) that we could not ride on the beach. If I had to do it again, I'd rent bicycles in town, as we saw many people riding on beach during our stay. We had great weather. Very relaxing vacation. Watched sunset from screened balcony several times.

Relax at the beach

Posted Mar 20, 2014
Pros: Location, restaurant and breakfast buffet, activities for kids and youth. great staff!
Cons: I phoned ahead to check on room request - 2 beds - but they couldn't or wouldn't adjust. We were OK, but with a sofabed.
Location: Walk on the beach, or in the nearby preserve. Hop on the trolley to take you to shops or other sights.
I enjoyed my stay at Pink Shell - it was a third time. The setting is lovely, the service considerate - they do all they can to make it a great experience. Just relax on the beach or in the spa! The rooms are pristine. the food is great!

Incredible resort on the beach!

Far enough from town (1 mile) to NOT get caught up in Spring Break, although close enough for a walk to go people watching and enjoy a mid-afternoon ice cream:)

Nice hotel on the beach

Posted Mar 13, 2014
Pros: Great family place with lots of activities for kids but also great for adults too!
Cons: Service at the restaurants is a little slow they could possibly hire more staff.
Location: Beautiful beach with a rental hut to rent any water activity directly in front of hotel. Water is shallow a long way out so great for kids.
Very nice hotel with large rooms located on a beautiful beach! The hotel is located far enough away from the main beach on Fort Meyers Beach that it is less crowded and a little more low key. Yet close enough to walk to all the restaurants and bars. Great place!

Location of hotel was great.

Posted Mar 11, 2014
Pros: Location Room set up
Cons: Service at the bar/restaurant
Location: Trolley was right outside the door and took us all over the island
The trolley was close. First few days of housekeeping were excellent, last day, not so much. The hotel in general was clean, the staff was friendly. Sometimes we did wait for service at the bar/restaurant. The complimentary breakfast was excellent
