Great place to relax

“Good location”

The hotel is in downtown but doesn't feel like it. It's a short walk to the riverside arcade and its shops, bars and restaurants, and the pool is great being next to the river. The food is good and the staff courteous, even offering us an umbrella in case it rained on our walk along the riverside!

“Best experience in a condo ever!”

This was by far the best experience in a hotel stay we have ever experienced. We loved the condo and won't stay at another hotel on the island. The only bad thing I could say is that we had to go down the beach a little to get to the tidal pools we liked. The condo was very clean, comfortable and felt like home with a vacation feel. Loved every second!

“Relaxing Winter Escape”

With all the snow we've had in the Northeast this winter, we just had to escape! My daughter and I booked a 2 bedroom condo after reading reviews. Our condo was dockside, across the street from the beach. It was nicely decorated and very clean. If I have one criticism, it is that the pillows were as hard as rocks. Other than that, we couldn't find fault with anything. Each morning we walked the beach and saw dolphins and many stingrays. We dragged lounge chairs to the beach and sat in the sun. The weather was perfect and people at the complex were friendly. I wish we had come here when my kids were young. The tide pool left by the sandbar would have been an enormous attraction. We would definitely stay again if we return to Sanibel.

“moorings”

We loved this condo resort. It was close enough to walk the beach to the lighthouse. The pools were nice and so were the people. We took in many sites, used the kayaks and the bikes. Would definitely go here again.

“A vacation to remember”

These condos are super cute and affordable. I was surprised by the size of all the rooms, flat screen tv, and even a washer & dryer. Located on the gulf, free canoeing and kayaking, bike rentals on the property, and close to everything else! The property grounds are a type of flower/ tree conserve and are immaculately kept. Front desk and staff always helpful and professional. We will be back!

“Loved it!”

We stayed at the Moorings entirely by chance and consider ourselves very lucky. They bill themselves as family-friendly and lived up to their promise. We felt at home everywhere and the front desk even gave us armfuls of beach toys when we arrived. There were LOADS of other kids and many people seem to be regulars. The general culture of the island was also great and many of the seasonal residents of the condos were interesting to meet and eager to share advice on things to do in Sanibel. We'll definitely go back!

“Very Comfortable Condo”

Very nice condo, well furnished and comfortable. The beach is a short walk, and is full of shells. The island is beautiful and sunsets were gorgeous. I would definitely reccommend it for families. It's so much more relaxing to have several rooms, than to have a family crammed into one room for several days.

“Great beach for kids”

I stayed here for a weekend. The beach was nice and the water warm and very shallow for a great distance out. This would be a great place for kids. The condos were older but in fine condition. Not too fancy, but not beat up. A good middle of the road lodging.The screened in porches were very nice. Sanibel is one of my favorite places to go with my family to just hang out.
