Across the street from the beachPosted Oct 17, 2013
Wonderful experience! Not fancy but clean and the owners Steve and Kathy very accommodating. Not a party hotel ,which we loved. Owners had complimentary cookout and boat ride for guests. Great family motel with everything you need.

Reasonable hotel, walk across the street to beachPosted Aug 19, 2013
Pros: Easy access to everything
Cons: Little dust under beds but that's it
Location: All the shops are within feet from it and plenty of placed to eat
This is a older lodge style hotel. So if your looking for marble floors and counter tops this is not for you. If your looking for a reasonable place to stay with owners that will do anything for you this is the place. From gas grills to use for free, free Landry machines and free use of kayaks. They will provide you beach towels and chairs if you need them. The beach is right across the street and the main area is times squareis less than 100 feet away. Even this close to all these shops and restaurants it still was pretty quiet and we had the lodge in the front , closest to the stores. We would definitely go back

Great ittle place in the heart of the Ft Myers BeaPosted Aug 5, 2013 on Hotels.com
Outstanding "Mom and Pop" owned place, small, old, but clean and modernized across the street from beach park, individual units with kitchen. barbecue grills outside. If you're looking for the brand new, sterile, high rise, right on the beach this place is not it. You can walk to just about everything, except grocery store. We purchased fresh caught grouper, tuna, red snapper, and gulf shrimp from the local seafood market on other side of bridge and cooked our own seafood feast on the grill. 7-Eleven is 3 doors down and all the bars, shops, restaurants are steps away. Wish we had brought bicycles too.

A wonderful placePosted Aug 1, 2013 on Hotels.com
I loved staying here. but the owner (the husband not the wife) was a little abrasive. It wasmore like you where at his house so you better follow the rules not like you are the guest how may I help you. I loved the mom and pop feel and the room was wonderful I just wish this pop could learn a little southern hospitality

Naturally there are rules, such as no glass in the pool area and no smoking inside the rooms, in place so all guests might enjoy their stay. No detail was provided by the writer so it is hard to respond to. We try to make every one comfortable when they come stay with us but each guest must be considerate of others staying here.

Ideal location, had everything you needed. The only fault is the air conditioning units, they're old, in desperate need of replacement, couldn't sleep due to the noise they made!

Very nice place.Posted Jul 21, 2013
The room and the hotel is very simple. The room has A/C only in one of the two rooms. But it's a very nice place. At the back of the hotel there is a lagoon with very friendly birds (herons, seagulls, etc.). There is a place to make BBQ. It's less than 100 meters from the sea shore, an excellent beach with white sands and clear water (from the Gulf of Mexico).
