We took our kids for Spring Break. The place was great for our family. Very comfortable, clean and beautiful! Can't wait to return!

“yearly tradition”

It was so nice to be able to take our dog and have him with us throughout the long weekend. The suites are so comfortable and homey, we even cooked dinner one night. It was relaxing, modern, and we want to make this a yearly tradition.

“Fabulous Hotel...Looking forward to returning”

The expression "You get what you play for" couldn't have been more truthful in our experience. The room was spacious, clean, and located between the airport and the beach. Traveling with children and staying in a sky rise we were delighted to discover the patio completely screened in as an added security measure. We had a great view and enjoyed watching the local wildlife. This hotel has also taken measures to "Go Green." The staff is helpful and friendly. We have already recommended this hotel to others. Don't forget to check out the pool and fitness center. Overall impression, "Nice Place."

“New Hotel offers exceptional value”

We found this hotel on the internet and received a great rate. Everything was exceptional. Our room was wonderful, however, the duvet cover, was so heavy...way too thick...not comfortable at all.....a blanket and a light-weight duvet would be so much better. That is our only complaint. The restaurant there is exceptional....the best steak my husband ever had. They even shared their secret ingredient. The seafood area near the bar offered great shrimp, and many appetizers....happy hour is a great bargain! So yes, I'd recommend this to everyone I knew..... Pool and hot tub area are wonderful too....so enjoy!

“Outstanding accommodations - nicer than home.”

Would definitely go back. We were in a deluxe two bedroom, with a dog. The room was enormous, and incredibly clean. The kitchen was top of the line and the beds incredibly comfortable. We did not find much to do in the immediate vicinity, but it was easy enough to get to Everglades and Sanibel Island and the resort was so nice, it made up for the travel time to other destinations.

“Dream Getaway!”

My husband and I just returned from a 5 day anniversary trip to Cape Coral. The resortt was incredible! It was immaculate. The service was outstanding. Hats off to Charlie a the front desk and Susan at the outside bar. Both were very helpful and genuinely concerned about us. Upon arrival we noted that our room had been upgraded at no additional charge in honor of our anniversary. The rooms were very well-equipped. I would recommend Lover's Key State Park (day on the beach) and Malatcha (Pine Island) for wonderful sunsets and very laid back meals. Rumrunners and the Joint were also nice. The Marker 92 restaurant is well worth a visit. Hats off to the chef! Pizza's and sushi at the outside bar are also great finds. We will return!

“Stayed two nights during "soft opening" November 7, 2009”

The Marina Resort is a brand new, beautiful waterfront hotel with great views of the yacht marina and river estuary at Tarpon Point. We stayed in a large one bedroom condominium style unit which was very clean and nicely appointed (think HGVC or Marriott VC). A large screened balcony provided great views of the riverway and waterfowl. While the staff were always friendly and gracious, this is a new hotel and there are kinks still being worked out. We did speak with the manager and offered a few suggestions for improvement based on our travel experiences. There was work still in progress on the parking garage but no noticable noise. The hotel restaurant was not yet open for breakfast service, so a complimentary continental breakfast was provided by the hotel (nice touch). I would highly recommend this resort.

“Great, relaxing stay for the whole family!”

This property is beautiful, impeccably maintained, quiet and spacious. The staff are very welcoming and the rooms are huge. Only negative is that it is located pretty far from everything. That is a positive if you like peace and quiet. No beach on site, but there is a free shuttle for a 3-hour excursion to Ft Myers Beach- which is great. Also make sure to do the complimentary Dolphin Cruise on Sunday morning. Great stay! Definitely recommending it!

“perfect when you have a boat”

expensive, good quiality, The resort is perfect, almost new, the unit was nice, clean and really big, all the staff where really kindly and helpfull, the only bad thing was the pool to small for so a big place, perfect place for some one with a boat

“Great New Hotel!”

We had a wonderful time at the Resort at Marina Village! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the resort itself is clean and beautiful. The reason we gave the "comfort of your room" a "3" is because our room didn't have a bathtub. We have a one year-old who takes a bath every night. When we first tried to get a different room, they told us it would be a significant price upgrade. Eventually everything was worked out, but my advice for families who need a bathtub is to call the hotel before you book to make sure you get a tub.
