Always dependable

I stay at Holiday Inn Express because my stays are always dependable. I travel alone and am female an have always felt safe. Staff are always friendly as well.

The front desk was very helpful. We asked about restaurants and were given great advice on a locally owned steak house. Yummy. We have two must haves in a hotel, free Wi-Fi and breakfast. The Wi-Fi is easy to hook up to and breakfast is the normal fare. I do have to say the cinnamon rolls are some of the best I've eaten at a breakfast buffet.

Found ourselves at the wrong hotel!

Pros: Their help when we needed it very much.
Cons: Improvement of location on the GPS.
Location: didn't stay in Van Buren
My husband and I came to Fort Smith for a family funeral. We thought we reserved our hotel in Fort Smith, but found ourselves in Van Buren by mistake. The hotel staff could not have been more helpful to us. The assistant manager and the desk clerk helped us change our reservation over to the Fort Smith Holiday Inn Express and dealt with Expedia in getting our money refunded to us. They really showed concern for our comfort and safety in getting us to the right hotel that was close to our family in Fort Smith and made sure we got to Fort Smith safely due to the difficult rode conditions the winter of 2014. Thank you! Holiday Inn Express Van Buren/Fort Smith Area!!!

This was a very nice hotel. The only problem was the remodeling going on which produced some very heavy paint fumes. I will stay here again but will call first to ensure that the remodel is done.

Geat Room

The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. The hotel staff was helpful and friendly. The exercise facility was well kept. We loved the Dish Network channels in the room! There is a small movie theater just across the parking lot and several fast food restaurants and one steak house nearby. The hotel has easy access to downtown Van Buren and Interstate 40. We have stayed here before and will stay here again!

Good Hotel

Hotel was clean, breakfast was good. The only incident was that I was double charged for the room, once by hotels.com and then again by the hotel. I called the hotel and they issued a refund immediately and apologized profusely.
