had to wait for desk person to come open up the office when we checked in . the room we paid for was a king bed room but what we got was a double Queen room that was a smoking room with cigarette burns and smelled of cigarette smoke , also room was not very clean . the only heat in the room came from a small space heater . the only plus was the lady who checked us in was friendly even though i think we may have woke her up to check us in . i didnt want to wake her up again so we just accepted it as a learning experience but will not be staying here again .

The property and facilities were great, very clean and easy to get to. With the motel-type entrance, we were able to park right out in front. The ground was a bit muddy, but easily managed. The ready made breakfast was a nice change compared to the normal continental breakfast. It was a bit loud- we could hear the trucks going back and forth on the road outside.

I brought my pet for one night, during my one week stay, told staff that the pet was no longer there and not to charge the pet fee. I ended up extended my stay for an extra day. I asked to for a receipt for the previous days and I was charged the pet fee for the rest of the week. If I had just left and never asked for that receipt, I never would have known. The rooms are very dark and with what little lighting you have, you have to unplug lights just to make a coffee, and you can hear everything!! The people stomping upstairs, the cart that gets rolled by every night when you are trying to sleep.There is absolutely no sound guarding on these rooms.

Dated but clean
We had a lovely night! The beds are kind of old and one was kind of lopsided, but it was comfortable and the room was clean! It’s dated, the flooring is old, but overall it was good.

When I booked Travelodge, Dawson Creek I knew it was an older hotel. From the moment I walked in the office to check-in I was greeted by very friendly staff who even gave out a cookie treat and bottle water! I knew based on their listing that breakfast was inculded and I assumed it was similar to most other hotel chain breakfasts, nothing exciting. But here you receive a voucher for a real breakfast from their attached restaruant. I ate dinner in the restaruant which was also very good! The room was spotless with a great tv package. I was returning from a 3 week motorcycle tour to the Yukon and Alaska so being able to relax after long days on the bike and watch decent tv was great. Thanks for the great job!!

Property totally run down..looks like a crack head motel.Toilet would not flush, carpet had something sticky all over, air conditioner was LOUD and moldy smelling, pillows were about 50 years old…worn out and filling all pilled and separated. Worst motel/hotel I’ve ever stayed in! Wyndham- shame on you for putting your name on such a disgusting place.

The owners were very nice and had amazing customer service, going above and beyond to make certain that our needs were met. Room was clean and the bed very comfortable. We would definitely recommend this Travelodge to others and be happy to stay there again!

The breakfast was great. The staff were friendly. But that was where the positives ended. Not clean, tv did not work, bathroom fan did not work and parking is very tight and fills quickly.

Call property in advance to let them know you have a dog. This by far is the best pet friendly room we have stayed in. The flooring is laminent and the room smelled clean. They had special blankets just for the dog. Spacious room if you wanted to setup a kennel. Would stay here again.

Never going back. The hotel was right beside the road. I was barely able to sleep due to the noise from the road. I asked for the refund so i can go to some other hotels they didnt allow it. So i had to stay allnight. Dont even think about this hotel.

The staff was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The room was comfortable and clean. My only issue was that the hotel caters mostly to shift workers so we had to hear the guy above us stomping around and getting ready for work in the very early hours of the morning.
