“Good choice for an overnight”

Nice family-run motel. Nothing fancy, but very clean and comfortable. Especially comfortable beds with apparently new pillow-top mattresses, sheets nice and soft. Very quiet area. Old-fashioned a/c, if you have it on it runs constantly which I do not care for, but I usually keep any blowers off while I am sleeping. If you want internet, make sure you take your own laptop, as there is free wi-fi but not a computer for guest use. Proprietors very nice and accommodating. If you are looking for an overnight, very good value for money.

“Recent stay in Fort Stockton”

We liked the manager very much. He was about as helpful and polite as he could possibly have been. The motel appears to have been neglected in the past, but is being upgraded, and substantial progress appears to have been made. The room was clean and the price was among the lowest in town when we visited Fort Stockton.

“Clean room and friendly front desk staff”

We stayed at Budget Inn only one night, but the front desk staff was very friendly even when we arrived late at night (close to midnight). He gave us the room which was recently remodeled. The room had new TV, new bed, and it was very clean and comfortable. We were going to Carlsbad Caverns N.P. the next day, so the location was perfect as well.

Very clean and comfortable room. It was a little loud in the morning with other people leaving but nothing too terrible.

VERY nice couple - a plus-seemed like family run business-another plus-very nice room -(an unexpected plus)-very great rate=very happy me. Owner/manager was overseeing rooms in am and even came to gather key from us rather than us walking to office- very nice people and room very clean & spacious- flat panel visio with full cable VERY nice upgrade to the standard hotel outlay after having been out camping. also had microwave and small fridge in room. THANK YOU GUYS and wish you many happy travelers! I never leave reviews unless very nice and or bad (so have my couple of chores to do tday from my last trip) Cheers!

“Alot Better Than I Expected”

This motel turned out to be perfect for the one-night stay that I booked on Expedia basede on the lowest price in Fort Stockton. The front desk staff was friendly, highly professional, helpful and cordial. The hotel was in a perfect location near 385 South and close to a car wash, convenience stores and a grocery store. The room was spotless, the bed was comfortable. I ate my dinner in my room but forgot to bring a fork. They had a plastic untensils at the front desk for the convenience of the guests.

“Good for a night”

We stayed here on our way from Arizona to central Texas. Not the nicest place. Receipts were all hand written, etc. we stayed with our dog and they told us they did not allow dogs and charged us extra but didn't kick us out. This was by far the cheapest hotel we saw in Ft. Stockton and you get what you pay for. The place was comfortable and exactly what we were looking for.
