“Suitable”

“Quiet and comfortable”

I was at the Cayo Grande Suites hotel in Ft.Walton Beach, FL 9/4-9/7/11. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. Every member of the hotel staff was courteous and accomodating to any request that was made. I would stay there again.

“Older but Nice”

The Cayo Grande Suite Hotel is somewhat old, but fairly well kept. The rooms (being suites) are spacious. Our room had two old tv's (Magnavox), while our friend's room had the newer flat screen models. Overall, the rooms were fairly nice & I would return to this hotel in the future.

Area recommendations

If you are looking for "beachfront" property, this is not the place to stay as it is located somewhat in the middle of town.

“Affordable, needs interior facelift.”

The junior suite we stayed in was clean, but several things were old and well used. The shower drain was very slow and the hotels keys did not work and we had to go back to be re-keyed several times. The bed was comfortable and the kitchenette was roomy. Overall, it was an OK experience, but not the best.

“very nice hotel Easy drive to the beaches”

We stayed in the King Suite The Kitchenete had every thing we needed, The built in washer and dryer was a very nice touch, The Bed was one of the most comfortable beds I ever had at a hotel. It was not close to the beaches but a easy drive (not complecated) with in 10 to 15 min you are on a beach. Shopping and very nice dining was in the same area as the beaches. If I was going back on short notice again, I would stay here no problem.

We used the public Beaches along the Oakaloosa Island They have no amenities like sheds bathrooms, But it was not crowded had plenty of room for privetcy

“nice room for family with children”

if you have thinking to spend time on the beach with children, having your own washing and drying machine in the room is very nice, plus a complete kitchen.

“Satisfactory”

Our room was the concierge suite. The room was a good enough size for a family of four. It was convenient to have a washer and dryer and full kitchen with everything needed, ex. pots, pans, utensils, etc. The complimentary breakfast was good. We ate there every morning. The hotel is a little outdated. It was about a 10-15 minute drive to the beach. Overall for the price it was great.

“Will stay again”

Good location for the price. Not on beach but close to everything in the area. Room was clean. Sofa bed was uncomfortable but it was to be expected from a sofa bed.

“Not bad for the price”

I had thrown together a last minute trip and this place caught my eye. It was very clean for an older hotel. Took about 15 minutes to get to Ft Walton Beach, which is also were all the good restaurants were. For the price that was paid on a last minute planning, I have no complaints.
