“The BEST Bed Ever!”

We stayed 2 nights at the Cayo Grande Suites in Ft. Walton Beach, Florida. The bed was the best I've ever slept in! It had great sheets and pillows and a down comforter and a mattress topper. (When I got home, I looked at the labels and went to the website to order everything for my bed, but they were too expensive for me.) The air conditioner worked extremely well, the windows opened, the hot water was instant. We had a full kitchen, living/dining area, bedroom, bathroom and laundry closet. The only thing not working was the automatic ice maker in the fridge. It looked new so it probably had not been hooked up. There were only 2 sets of towels when we arrived, but Housekeeping left us 2 more sets when I asked. This hotel is NOT on the beach. I think it's about 10 minutes away. Breakfast is included.

“Very Impressed”

The suite was very clean. The Queen size bed was very comfortable. The staff, especially Ms. Natascha, was very accomodating and pleasant.

“Great Hotel, but don't expect much from the front desk!”

Everything was above par about this hotel: Bath & Body products in the bathroom, lots of room to move about, and a complimentary hot breakfast in the hotel cafe. All grounds staff is very nice, but front desk girls are abrupt, snobby, and give a hard time about any and every question or request - was referred to google when asked a question about a museum 3 miles away!

“Can't wait to go back”

I can hardly wait to go back for another visit. It was just what I was looking for in a hotel. Very pleased and I would certainly recommend it to others. Next time I am in this area, this is where I definitely will be staying if there is a room available.

“We had a great stay, and would stay there again!”

We stayed for 8 days and had a room with kitchen and mini washer and dryer. It was quiet for the most part, on the weekend they got a few basketball and baseball teams that took up both pools and there was along wait for a seat at breakfast, but once they left all was fine. My kids loved the free breakfast and the pools. The room was quiet all the time and the soaps and lotions they leave you are awesome. We esp. loved the cookies they left everyday in our basket in the kitchen. We def. will stay there again if ever in the area.

Our suite was first-rate. Clean and comfortable. Great facilities. An excellent hotel, all around!

“Very nice stay”

The service was great. The amenities were awesome. There was a full kitchen in the room that my group was not expecting. The beds were very comfortable. The price was great. Only real downside is that it's about a 5-10 minute drive from the beach but the beach parking is free so that really doesn't make much of a difference.

Nice landscaping surrounding hotel, good continental breakfast (hot and cold), friendly staff, VERY nice and clean rooms, located within 5 minutes of public beach, overall a very nice place to stay! The rooms were very spacious, the beds were extremely comfortable, shower/ bathtub with jets was really nice, microwave/fridge, very clean and taken care of!

I visit Destin several times a year, and I always stay at this hotel. My favorite vacation spot.
