“iSeamless check-in with a very nice complimentary breakfast with a breath-taking view of the cove.”

The room was very clean with all needed items. Breakfast was hearty and the view of the cove was gorgeous. I would come back here again, especially with the special rate I received through Expedia.com

“Inexpensive sleeping quarters”

Hotel has wonderful view of the harbor. Ideally located, good parking, short trip to outstanding state parks located on the gulf, service staff very helpful, but hotel needs moderanization.

Area recommendations

Destin Florida has several state parks located directly on the gulf with beautiful white sandy beaches, great parking, picnic areas and bath houses for changing. Entry costs were less than $6 per day for parking. Area also has many malls and outlet stores for whatever you need.

“Big bed, Good area.”

I spend a lot of time in the area due to family and have stayed in many of the bigger hotels. The Inn on Destin Harbor is smaller, more quaint, but just as nice as the others. Don't let the small building size make you think its not a nice place, the beds are comfy and clean. I will be using this hotel again in the future.

Anywhere in Destin/Fort Walton Beach is a good time.

“Peaceful getaway!”

Very nice hotel. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Great location. Very clean. All I can say is get the harbor side view. It's worth the extra! My wife and I had a great romantic getaway. It is a pet friendly hotel but only 2 out of 5 floors r dedicated to pets. Good if u have pets, good if u don't... Wifi was great and the breakfast was enough. There is also a donut place right down the road. I have stayed at Marriott and some of the high end locations but would choose this any day!

Area recommendations

Mcguires for a great burger (it's good enough for 2 people)... The donut hole for snack and breakfast. Outlet malls for shopping!!!

“Hit The Sweet Spot”

We flew in to the Destin airport and was checking into The Inn on Destin Harbor within 15 minutes of landing. We had dinner at The Marina Cafe right next door (we walked there). The hotel was having a free Brazilian BBQ at the time, but I am on a vegan diet, so the vegetarian sushi at Marina Cafe was what I needed. The only thing wrong with the room was the TV remote was missing its batteries and the front desk took care of that problem instantly. We will be back for sure.

“lovely view of bay area”

Nice hotel on the bay and rates very reasonable

Area recommendations

We stayed at this hotel because of a wedding, we were attending nearby. Our small terrier "Sophie" was able to stay also. It was during the fall season and the view of the bay was quite nice. During the summer months we would rather be on the beach.

“Drugs and Old hotel? Yes! You will find it here!”

Hotel was old smelly and especially smelly on our last night there! Someone was smoking drugs in their room! When I told hotel staff the response I got was "There is no smoking in the rooms. Everyone has been told to smoke on the balcony" REALLY?? I argued with the night manager that this was an illegal substance smoked and he would do best to take care of it. He said he would go up there and try to find the source.....Never heard or saw any cops which I think should have been the ONLY means of "checking it out"! Hotel doesn't look anything like the picture! Its old and DESPERATELY needs to be updated for the comparable hotel price! Mattress is uncomfortable, bathroom is exactly as described below...SMALL SUPER SMALL....The first room we were booked in the sliding glass door didn't work at all. They did gladly move our room! Thankfully because the next day this very obnoxious offensive guy and his family were directly below us! Don't know who the girl sunbathing with her top undone was but he took a picture of you doing that. Sadly this hotel is certrally located within walking distance to EVERYTHING! Might I suggest management at least be a RESPONSIBLE college student rather than a partying one? Can we get some updates? Drugs should probably be taken serious oh AND is it too much to ask for FRESH breakfast? Bagels tasted freezer burnt! Coffee was good though AND they had flavored creamers which was a PLUS!

Somewhere near within a mile from this hotel especially if you like to walk to your destination or local hot spots! They are right down the way from this hotel and area was super safe for walking! Stop into Mcguire's! You won't regret it! DELICIOUS!!!!

“great boutique hotel! Walking distance from night life, short drive to great beaches.”

This is the perfect place if you want the elegant experience at a recession price. If night life is your thing you can drink and walk back safely. Then a short drive to the beaches the next day. I have stayed here a few times and love the wine hours(2) on Wednesday when the owners are there. They a great fun and make a great atmosphere. The Wednesday wine hour when they weren't was So-so. Depends on the other guests. The room was clean when we got there but our bathroom wasn't cleaned everyday. Don't get me wrong it was still clean but I like my toilet cleaned every day an my vacations. The balcony can,not be beat for dolphin watching and having a glass of wine. Will go back again if the prices stay the same.

“not totally satisfied”

I was not completely satisfied eighths hotel. Maintenance was not up to par. The balcony door did not work properly, there was no microwave in the room, and the bathroom was too small. It was right at the entrance of the room which was very awkward.

“Great for the price”

This is an older hotel. My wife and I stayed there 23 years ago before this week. The bathroom is small, the internet is weak, but the stay was great. If you want beaches and amenities... try somewhere else. If you want a great place to stay and walk to the fishing docks and several places to eat... this is the ticket.
