“great place to stay, but....”

I stayed at the Inn during a recent dive trip. It was close, within walking distance to the harbor and dive shop, so I was very pleased. The hotel was very clean. My only complaint would be the size of the bathroom, for big guys like me, it was a tight squeeze, other than that I really enjoyed the place.

“Destin's Best Little Hotel”

The "private balcony" over looking the harbor was most enjoyable. The hotel was very clean and had a new feel about it even though it is an old Destin landmark. The staff was very friendly and helpful in making our dinner reservations and boat sight seeing trip. I really like the fact it is an all "non-smoking" room hotel. The Expedia web site was informative and the description on the Inn was helpful in making my decision. We'll be back!

“PERFECT HOTEL; BEST COFFEE EVER!”

I was working in Destin and required a place that offered high speed internet access and a quiet location. I was very pleased with the hotel, it's staff, the accomodations and entire stay.

“Our mid winter vacation”

We had a recent trip to Fla. Stayed at the Destin Inn. We had the view of the harbor. The view is truly what made the trip for us. All the rooms have balconies which are a good size and have two chairs to sit back and enjoy the sights. Our only complaint and for us and it was a big issue because we have children is the room service, or should I say the lack there of!! The carpet was clearly not vacuumed at all. The fist day we tried to be thoughtful and go green. We told them they don't have to wash the sheets since we would be staying for a week. They took that to mean not to even bother making the beds!!! We rarely got hand soap for the sink, no cups for our drinks etc. That was a definate problem. We even mentioned this to the front desk and still no improvements. We would have been better off putting out the do not disturb sign. Over all though we truly did enjoy our stay. The front desk girls were very friendly and pleasant, they showed great hospitality. The hotel itself is very quiet except for the weekends do get a little loud during the day and early evenings. The price was really reasonable and affordable for us. We would definately stay there again, however I will bring my own vacuum cleaner and supplies.

My family had a great stay. The staff took care of all our needs, the beds were comfortable,the harbor view was great and my son loved the "small beach".

Really liked the location. Liked that it was small scale. Service was great. Only draw back needs some updating.
