“LOVED IT!!”

Hotel was great!!! only problem we had was the room was not ready when we arrived. we got to go ahead and enjoy the pool while we waited, which was great. the room was worth the wait. exceptional view of the pool area. room was clean, adequately stocked, ready to be enjoyed. loved the 2 bathrooms, that really came in handy with 2 kids. loved the full kitchen. the hotel has a shuttle service to the beach that runs on request. the dvd player in the room didn't work, called and maintence was there in about 5 mins and got it working. will definetely stay here again. staff was friendly and helpful. hotel convientent to downtown destin, close to everything.

“Can't wait to stay again!”

Everything about the hotel was perfect for our spring break family vacation. The condo was beautifully kept with modern style and modern appliances. There were plenty of towels and blankets for our family of 5.

“We will definitely be back!!!”

This was a fantastic place. The kids loved the pools, the restaurant, and the we were all very pleased with the free shuttle to the beach. The concierge was very nice. It was like being in a home away from home.The sofa was ugly and could use to be replaced, but we didn't come there for the sofa. All the other amenities trumped the sofa. Everyone agreed that we will be back and that it may be a long time before a "hotel" sees us. Condos are the way to go!

“nice pool”

This hotel has the best swimming pool around this area. After dark, we normally don't go to the beach but spent most of our time in swimming pool & drink. Love the pool! The beach is across the street (you have to cross the main road). If you don't mind walking across the main road, then it's a very good place to chill out & have fun.

“Beautiful Hotel”

We had a great time. I went w/ my two children and my best friend and her son. (5, 3 and 2 years old) The room was wonderful, washer/dryer in one bedroom, deck access in the other. Living room was big enough for the kids to play in while we cooked lunch/dinner in adjoining kitchen. When I checked in we were given only our room keys. On our fifth day a security guard at the pool hassled us because we did not have our wrist bands on, which he claims we should have been given at check in. So make sure you get those. There is also a very nice playground for the kids at the hotel. We spent our evening hours there. The shuttle to the beach was broken for our whole trip and traffic out of the hotel to the state park beach access was thick (left hand turn). The beach was beautiful though, very clean. I Would definitely recommend the hotel.

“I could literally live at The Palms!”

The Palms was easily the nicest place I've stayed at in a long time. Come to find out, each room is individually owned. I am already looking to purchase a place at The Palms after our visit. You will definitely get the most "bang for your buck" at The Palms. I highly recommend it!

“The Palms of Destin”

We had a 2 bedroom suite. It had balconies from both rooms. The pool was awesome, and we were just across the street from the public entrance to the beach. Fitness room had plenty of equipment, kitchen was spacious and full of dishes, our own washer and dryer, and plenty of room to stretch out. We were in a central location for restaurants, shopping, and entertainment. Even the Trapper Vic's on-site had live music most nights. We could sit pool side with a drink and music. We would definitely go back!!!

“Palms Destin”

This hotel was great. The checkin was easy and the people at the front desk were extremely friendly and very helpful. The hotel was very clean and tropical feeling. The concierge was a great place to get advice about things to do and restaurants to go to. Checkout was 10:00 am and I asked for a later time and they gave me an extended hour for no additional cost. I would highly recommend this place. It was very relaxing and a wonderful getaway in Destin.

“Awesome Honeymoon!”

Excellent, felt like we were at home, but we had an awesome view. The only negative was that there was music playing at Trader Vics until atleast 10pm...sometimes 2pm. If noise bothers you...or if you have kids, don't get a condo facing in towards the pool deck...get one on the outside to muffle the noise at night.

“Very nice property. Excellent rooms.”

My wife and I had a very nice stay there. This property is across the street from the beach, not on it, but you can go into their other property on the beach and use their facilities and beach chairs for no cost. The only thing to remind everyone about is the cleaning fee. It is charged for every day that you stay even though there is no real maid service. That's not a problem as you have a washer/dryer in the rooms. But it is an added cost to be aware of. All in all, an excellent place, inside and out. I would stay again and recommend it to anyone. If you don't NEED to be on the beach, this is as close as possible and will save you a few dollars for a few more drinks!
