“We want to come back next year.”

This place is nice, and the pool area is awesome. access to the beach is nice also. Convenient parking. All around worth the money.

“Not so good”

The exterior was beautiful and all the common areas were really nice you feel like you really are in paradise but the cheap bathroom renovation really was a turn off. It made the bathroom seem even smaller that it was.

“Good location, older building but clean”

We just returned from our trip to FWB last Wednesday (09/28/11). We enjoyed our stay, especially since it was off season and the hotel was very quiet. The pros of the place: great location, nice staff, clean, convenient amenities (chair/umbrella rental), nice outdoor spaces. The cons: older building (e.g., the letter "A" in the Ramada sign was broken out), there were very few plugs in the room for electronics and they had extension cords and splitters at the existing plugs which looked unsafe to me, the bathroom had a weird "sour" smell (I think it was the shower curtain - I probably should have asked for a replacement), and the carpet was really old and worn, although we realized we were at the beach. The amenities other than the chair rental were never available to us (one day, the Wave Runner towing device was broken, the next day, some other technical problem caused us not to be able to rent), the outdoor bartender was a real jerk, but all other staff was nice. All in all a good experience, especially off-season, but not the nicest hotel in town.

“Nice Stay!”

Great Hotel! At first, appears to be a motel type but the rooms on the beach are resort type...very nice. Our room was right off of the beach with a wonderful view. Immediate access to the beach! About 5-7 mins away from Destin so that may be an inconvenience, but my boyfriend and I didnt want to be in the middle of the city so it was a great choice! Would definitely stay again!

“Great location, but party central.”

I don't know if it was just the time of year or bad luck, but this was a party hotel. We brought our young kids here because of a recommendation, and also lots of research on the website. I was led to believe it was a "family friendly" property. Don't get me wrong, the splash park and movie night were great, but the clientele were wild. By 2:00pm most of the adults were walking around with a beer or drink in their hand and the party went on till well over 2:00am when people would come in from the clubs. I am not a straight arrow, but when it came to trying to sleep and deal with people yelling right outside our door (we actually had to call security one night) we were not rested in the mornings. I think overall, the hotel was good for a budget property, great location, great pool. That's all I can say about it. I guess it could happen at any hotel, but it happened every day and night that we stayed.

“Enjoyed it!”

Clean and comfortable room. Great pool. Nice extras like souvenier shop,food and drinks available,and a nice fitness center.

Area recommendations

Ft. Walton Beach and Destin are both good areas. The cities are near each other. Destin has a little bit more to offer but is only 5 minutes from Ft. Walton Beach. So,I would recommend either city.

“Good Stay”

The hotel is in a good location. It is a little dated and the rooms & bathroom are a little small, but the service is good. The resturant, burger stand & bars are pretty good. My family was at the breakfast buffet every morning. Nice beach & pool areas.

“Not so good.”

The room was over priced. Dated decor. Room had an oder. Too many towels hanging around landscape. Too many none english speeking housekeepers (they were very friendly but, not much help) . Leaking ceilings in the loby. No shuttle service.

Area recommendations

The area is beautiful. I plan to visit again. I will not be staying at this hotel. The night life is great. The people and the atmosphere are magnificent.
