“Good place to stay”

I've now stayed here 2 years in a row. Love the waterfall pool, being right on the beach, and being just a quick stroll in the sand away from a couple of seafood restaurants and ice cream shop.

“Can't wait to go back!”

We were excited to find out that we had a room with a perfect view of the gulf. We all had a great time at this hotel because it is very family friendly with the two pools and being directly on the beach. They have a chair and shade vendor/ company out on the beach that will rent to you and bill to your room. This is a nice service because it means less items that you need on the beach but you don't have to lug through the sand with kids items too. The kids were pleasently surprised to find an on site mini Alvin's Island store that is located between the two pools. The heated pool was wonderful and always warm. The whole family is excited about planning for next year's vacation at this resort. I highly recommend this hotel for families and anyone that wants a relaxing vacation.

“Excellent place to stay with kids”

The Ramada Beach Resort is set up perfectly for families looking for a hotel that offers everything you need and is close to a lot of things. We went with 4 kids and they were never bored... the beach, the splash island play area, the waterfall pool, the heated pool, putt-putt across the street, "The Boardwalk" next door, and the "Gulfarium" 1/2 mile away. The hotel offers kids activities for "parent time-outs" as well. One of our favorite things was the movie night in the heated pool. There was also live music on the weekend. The gift shop located on the property was very reasonably priced for floats, boogie boards, sand toys, etc. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We also liked the fact that there was security constantly patroling and stationed in certain areas. The food was also very good... the bar-b-que sandwiches and hamburgers, the breakfast buffet, and dinner choices. I highly recommend this hotel and will go back in the future.

“peaceful paradise”

our entire family was pleased with my choice in hotels this time...thank goodness!! its not easy to find a place that the teenagers can't get enough of and the "older generation"-as my son says- doesn't want to leave either. we have already booked another room for august ;)

“Great for families”

This hotel has something for every one. A small pool for toddlers, a grotto bar for the adults, and a play area for the rest. Great beach front.

Housekeeping was very courtious. Staff is very eager to satisfy customer needs and special requests. I have recommended this vacation to all my co-workers, family, and friends. We are planning to make this a yearly family event. This hotel is perfect. You have privacy, easy access to beach, great places close by to shop and dine.

We enjoyed our room... OUr kids enjoyed it as well we enjoyed the pool the playground and the fact that there was 3 pools heated regular with a bar in the pool and a kiddie pool. There is also a gift shop in the pool area... Our a/c was broke in our room when we first checked in I called the front desk and within minutes they changed it out....Awesome hotel stay would recommened it highly...

The staff was very helpful. The grounds were beautiful and the pools were great. The splash garden park on the beach was awesome...my daughter and niece loved it!

We thouroughly enjoyed our stay here. The room was clean and comfortable. We stayed beachside and the room had a private balcony so you could watch the sunset. The staff were great. The restaurant was great also. If your looking for a place that is right in the action of Okaloossa Island we highly reccommend this place.
