“Great Stay”

The room was extremely clean. The bed was beyond comfortable. Staff was very helpful. We arrived in the area late, around 10:30 p.m. and where I was unfamiliar with the area, I was very hesitant about looking for the hotel so I called and without hesitation they directed me to the unit. The hotel is non smoking and that made the stay that much more enjoyable. Good price!!

“Great place to stay”

Was really suprised at the quality of the hotel for the price. Was very pleased... Only complaint pillows too soft or just needed another one...lol

“My Destin, Florida Hotel Experience in Niceville”

I really appreciate the fact that it was a strict non-smoking hotel. The rates were great also, especially upon such short notice.

Great location for the price. Easy access to across the bay. Like the fact not a lot of traffic.

“Not Impressed”

The hotel looks pretty crappy and there is never anyone at the check-in and out desk and when you ring the bell a very unprofessional woman comes from the elevator to help you. She was not friendly and had on street clothes eveytime I went to ask a question or check in/out. The room was not too bad everything was clean with the exception of the dirty socks on the floor. The hotel it self was not bad it definately is not the nicest hotel and the price should probably be a bit lower but for a weekend stay it was pretty good because I only slept there and was at a wedding and visiting a friend the entire trip. And breakfast consists of honey buns, coffee and cereal.

“"Pictures make it look much better than it is in real life"”

The hotel looked much better in the pictures than it actually did, when I checked in. The towels were hard, and thin, the sheets, blanket and covers were very thin. The blanket coveing the bed had some stains on it toward the bottom of the bed. The bed was uncomfortable too hard, and there were only 4 little pillows on a king-sized bed. The chair in the room was dated, and rippped in several places. The room had a slight odor, and we needed to keep the air conditioning on the entire time. The furniture was clearly mismatched, a door was torn off the front of a cabinet, the are where the hangers were was rusted. I was there for 2.5 days, and housekeeping NEVER came by to clean the room or to refresh the towels. When I checked in instead of just charging my card for potential incidentials, they actually preauthorized the total room amount and then an additional amount for incidentials. They continued to deny this, but I clearly saw the charge. Then when I checked out the staff instead of getting my approval as to what credit card to charge, put the charge through on my initial card, which is not what I had wanted to charge the hotel on. The person at the front desk just laughed nervously when I informed him that I was not okay with what he had done. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
