“Quality stay in Destin”

Excellent! Sterling Sands is a quiet and peaceful resort on the busy strip in Destin. Easy access to everything... yet relaxing and comfortable accommodations. Plenty of space... never feeling overcrowded... beach, pool, pool chairs,parking, etc. Very nice accommodations at a nice price.

Beach is right out the back door, and all rooms have an amazing view of the ocean with all glass patio doors. Great beach umbrella service as well!

“Great Destin Experience”

THINGS WE LOVED: after hours checked-in - it was a breeze! Keys that were good for only one night were left for us. This took less than 30 seconds. In the morning we had to do our "formal check in". Again, we did this in less than a minute as we were on our way to the beach. The condo - It was only 8 floors and elevators were quick. The two bedroom/bathroom condo was clean, tastefully decoarated, and was stocked better than my home when it came to utensils and cookware. Views - WOW, WOW, WOW! made any gripes that I did have go away. Loved the balcony space. movie rental system - great plus. THINGS WE DIDN'T LIKE: The second bedroom was tight to say the least. When the trundle bed was out, there was no room to walk. The kids were crawling over the bed to get to the door and the bathroom. Knowing what I know now, I'd rent the larger two bedroom.

The room was very nice and clean. It has a great view of the ocean and pool are. The couch folds out into a huge queen bed. The masterbedroom was roomy and has a private bath. The Track is across the street and Big Kahoonas Water Park is also very close.

The facility exceeded my expectations. The location was excellent, our condo was fabulous, and the front desk staff was very friendly. I'm looking forward to going back!

My Sterling Sands condo was near luxury. It was beautifully decorated, clean and spacious. I had several guests who were amazed at the size and the decor. When I told them my awesome Expedia price, they were speechless. I nearly fell onto the white sands of the beach as it was so close to their beautiful pool area. What made my trip even better was the helpful front desk. My phone was a victim to the Gulf and the oil...tanning oil. My phone was destroyed after the tide came up a little too close to my sunning spot. I had to contact my business associate who was coming to bring me to our conference. Because I didn't know his number, the front desk was gracious enough to help me contact him. If you want a luxury place to stay with an amazing price, this is it!!!

“Convenient, peaceful family vacation rental”

The rental condo (not a hotel) is a good fit for families who want to have a peaceful staying place. The condo is located right at the white sand beach and clear blue water (need to have sunglasses to minimize too bright light). All rooms are facing the gulf. Each has full kitchen, laundry, dining, living rooms as well as separated bedrooms. Restaurants, markets, shops, beach rentals are just nearby. Meanwhile, the beach access is between 9AM - 5PM. Otherwise, you have to use the public beach access. The quiet time is between 10PM - 10AM. The check-out time is 10AM. Any 24 year old or younger must stay with an older person or leave. On the GPS, the street name is Emerald Coast Hwy, not Hwy 98 nor Scenic Hwy 98 etc.

“A very nice family hotel”

This condo was very nice. It has all what a family would ever need during their vacation. Washer/Dryer and a full kitchen in the unit makes it very convinient for families with kids. The view from the terrace was gorgeous. The only thing that can be better is the size of the second bedroom (in the standard unit)which was very samll and could hardly fir our kids. The location is great. Right next to an amusement park and a go-carting racing track which makes it very entertaining for families with kids in the evenings after a long day on the beach. The umbrellas are very pricy and first row umbrellas run out very early in the morning. If you are staying for a week or so, it will be more economic to pay for 5 days at once and then you can book a first row umbrella for the whole 5 days and cheaper than if you pay indvidual days. We would definitely come back here again next year.
