The room had the potential to be nice but it was dirty. Things were dusty, the shower curtain was moldy, the carpet was tore up, the white comforters had small stains, and the phone had crud on it. The staff didn't seem to know what was going on and at first gave me a room that hadn't been cleaned. There were stores and restaurants in walking distance. The work out room had been destroyed by years of children coming from the pool and playing on the equipment.

Comfort Inns & Suites are always a good value. This hotel was being updated. The rooms are always so large, extra lighting should be used!

Very "ok"Posted Dec 3, 2012
Stains on both bedspreads. When we asked for fresh ones, the front desk clerk said that all of the bedspreads (duvets) were stained, so they had no clean ones. Dust, hairs & light dirt in the corners of the room. Wallpaper peeling from the ceiling. The room was so spacious & nice otherwise, it's a shame that it wasn't kept up better.

Great MotelPosted Aug 21, 2012
Pros: The beds, and size of the rooms.
Location: Easy access from/to the highway, Restaurants and shopping center within walking distance.
The only problem that I had was that I paid for the room in advance through Expedia, but when I checked in, the desk clerk charged me again for the room. But when I checked out, a different clerk was at the desk, and corrected the problem. I also found out at that time that the previous clerk was new to the job, so that's understandable. Overall it was a pleasant experience.

I was pleased with the size of the room, couch, TV and cleanliness. The only downer was that the hairdryer did not work, no extras at the desk. This should be on a checklist to see if all is working properly.

Surprisingly nice.Posted Jun 25, 2012
Pros: beds, room size, 100% non-smoking
Cons: small pillows, small/slow elevator
Location: swamp view, near Walmart, exit 129 off I-69
The room was much larger than I expected for the price. The beds were really comfortable (but there are 4 half size pillows on the beds rather than 2 regular size pillows...which was strange). I got two queens for three total people. The room also had a half wall with a couch on the other side, which was a foldout so we could have fit more people. Because of that, I do feel that it was a bit odd that we were charged an extra person fee. Regardless, I was expecting a mediocre room and this was far beyond what I expected. The view out the back side of the hotel was a swamp. At first, I found this unappealing, but it made it feel far more remote than it was (there's a Walmart right by it). Overall, I really enjoyed my stay. We were ultimately going a half hour more north to the state line, and we only stayed there because the hotels in the town we were visiting were all booked. But now I think on return trips, we will stay in Auburn at the Comfort Suites and just drive the 30 miles.
