Hotel nice but next door to strip jointPosted Feb 28, 2014
Hotel was nice but had no hot water in bathroom. When I complained they said nothing they could do. I feel that expedia owes me a refund. I also feel this hotel should not be on expedia's list

I got what I paid for.Posted Feb 24, 2014
Hotel staff was very friendly but not enough to make up for the disappointing facilities. Thought I was getting a smoke free room, and I might have but the entire 2nd floor smelled of smoke. Pillows were flat and lumpy. Mattress was hard and slumped in the middle. Hear other room doors opening and closing all night. Facilities on a whole were old and run down. It is also right next to a strip club, had I known that I would have NEVER booked here. Breakfast set up allowed for touching of food. I mean who wants to eat waffles that someone else touched.
Cheap is cheapPosted Jan 26, 2014
Though we were greeted well, we had no towels or trash cans when we returned after our tournament. We had a plumbing problem and they brought me a wrench. The walls were filthly and cobwebs were in every corner.

Terrible Hotel, never stay herePosted Dec 30, 2013
Cons: Cleanliness, carpet needs to be changed, quality of bath towels and toiletries can be better. Breakfast should be better.
Location: We did not have a chance to see much around but there is Glenbrook Square which is a mall where we went and seemed to be a decent place.
I have stayed in many hotels in the USA and many of them were upscale but quite a few hotels I stayed at comparable hotels. But this hotel has terrible location. I checked in the hotel and the carpet was smelling and dirty. I requested the manager on duty for vacuuming the carpet and she responded that although it is the job of the housekeeping but she would do it and that she would be back in few minutes which she never did. Next day we left in the morning and came back around 3:00 P.M. the room was not cleaned. I asked the manager on duty and he said that the maid servicing must be coming and she might be busy doing other rooms. Eventually around 4:00 P.M. the maid showed up. She changed the bed sheets of one of the beds but did not change for the other bed and I did not eve bother to ask her why. The T.V had very limited channels and did not work properly. The heater/air-conditioner was too loud and disturbed while sleeping and if watching T.V. the noise of the heater/air-conditioner was a source of annoyance. Then there was some kind of noise coming out of our room or hotel which disturbed us while sleeping and I am not sure what it was except that it sounded like someone was starting repeatedly motorcycle. The breakfast was terrible and as bad as it could be. So we decided not to have breakfast there although breakfast was included in the price. We did not have breakfast any of the two days we were there.

Handy stopPosted Dec 2, 2013 on Hotels.com
The Guesthouse Inn is conveniently located near I-69 along Colliseum, which is a major road in Fort Wayne so that there are many restaurants nearby We were tired and needed somewhere economical to stop, and the Guesthouse Inn was just what we needed--- nothing fancy, just a clean room.

We were not impressed at all and will not stay here again. We had to ask for new bed sheets because there was hair on the sheets and we were not impressed!

Strip Club DistrictPosted Oct 25, 2013
The hotel is next door to a strip club, close to others and across the street from a truck stop. There were burn holes in the blankets of our "non-smoking" room. Springs and mattresses were bagged in plastic. We stayed because we had pre-paid through Expedia, but regretted the decision, slept fitfully, and left well before dawn. Front desk staff were kind and belpful, but this is a very poor hotel.
