“Best in town”

Very comfortable and nice location. No problem with noise like some posters have said. Staff was great and accommodating. The city lacks decent restaurants. We found a great Steak and Spirits place downtown called Haisley's. Prime rib was to die for.

“Business traveler with high expectations”

This was a great hotel. I learned that it was recently re-opened after being bought by this chain. The hotel was extremely clean. The room had all the amenities needed. The bed was great and lots of hot water. The staff were very professional and everything was terrific. I need to return to Columbia City and will stay here again.

This was one of those hotels that you wish you had more time to stay! Need I say more? The indoor pool looked very inviting!

“Decent hotel.”

Couldn't get a room in Warsaw so this was the nearest city. Decent hotel. Room was kinda small but clean. Staff seemed a little overworked, but friendly. Breakfast area was also small and got very busy in the morning. Pool area was nice. Was good to wind down in after the long day.

Clean, comfortable rooms, nice staff. Exercise room was very small. All in all a good experience.

The hotel was very pleasant. It was near our family and convenient to the center where we had the family reunion.

“Quiet and Comfortable”

My two children and I were very comfortable here. The room was clean and well-lit, there was no noise in the adjoining rooms or hallways to keep the children awake, and all the bathroom fixtures were operating properly. When I accidentally touched my room key to my cell phone, thus demagnetizing the strip, I had to return to the front desk to have the problem fixed. There was no one at the desk and when I called the desk from the lobby telephone to get someone's attention, the female daytime clerk was quite rude when I explained what I needed. Other than that one incident, all the encounters we had with hotel staff were pleasant. Breakfast in the hotel was also pleasant with plenty of choices for both children and adults, all fresh. Frankly I was surprised to be so impressed with the lodging at such a low price.

“Staff and Cleanliness”

Staff was not real knowledgable of the area, which would have been beneficial. Pool had some areas in need of repair. Hallways did not seem airconditioned and had a foul odor. Room was clean and odorless. Good stay for the price.

no maid service for the 3 nights we were there. Check in was late due to the room not cleaned.

“Drive a but further and get to Ft Wayne.”

For the area the price seemed average but for the quality it was high. I was in a smoking room after asking for non-smoking, there were non-smoking rooms available. My room had a plastic bottle left in it from the previous guest. The interaction with the desk clerk was extremely minimal. She had a friend on hold and couldn't get me a key fast enough so that she could return to the call. When checking out there was a friend of the clerk at the front desk who was also more important than I was. Both of my interactions at the front desk were with young girls who seemed bothered by my presence. There a very few options for hotels in this small town and I would recommend traveling the extra distance to get to Fort Wayne.
