“Great hotel in Huntington”

The hotel was very clean and quiet. The location was near a shopping area so that any items forgotten, are easily obtained. There is a nice selection of restaurants nearby. Hotel has easy access to major highway.

“Not Bad At All”

I'd never stayed at a Super 8 before, but despite a sticky bathroom door, it was very nice and I would stay again.

“Average Hotel”

First entering the room at around 3:30pm I noticed the bathroom light was out. I called the front desk and asked for the light to be fixed. After being told that they would take care of it, around 7pm I went up to the front desk and asked again about when someone could fix it. I went with the front desk agent and changed the light bulb myself. Second, the swimming pool was very cold the first time we went swimming after saying something to the front desk they said they would check into it and the pool was comfortable the next day. My thoughts are that they are an average hotel, nothing to brag about.

“Clean but very plain.”

Was only in town for a night and didn't want to pay $100 a night when I was going to be with friends and only be in the room for sleeping. Room was very plain but it served my needs. The room and hotel were clean so I have no complaints.

The staff was friendly, and the room was mostly clean. The breakfast was better than most hotels. It has more amenities (indoor pool and fitness room) than most hotels in its class. We were supposed to have queen beds but had double beds, and the hotel had a musty/smoky smell (even in the non-smoking rooms) that made me sneeze the rest of the day.

“Plumbers Nightmare”

I would not recommend the Super 8 in Huntington ,IN.

“Just OK”

It was OK for one night, by myself. But the bedspread and blanket had holes in them, and there were kids running up and down the hall very noisily after 10 PM. They did so for quite a while, knocking on doors and squealing/laughing.

“Service starved”

Stayed 2 nights with 4 people. They ran out of all towels both nights (only allotted two per room and no washclothes second night), refreshed the room after the first night, but did not add toilet paper (had to call down to get more), ran out of waffle mix both days. The biggest deal was that between Sat and Sun, day light savings time took place. We were in town for a State Wrestling Tourney. Imagine getting up an hour late. All the guy could say was that the computer can't handle the time change and it happened last year too. I said then when the people called down, you should have told them that so that they would set their alarm clocks or take down the room #'s and call manually. He said that there is no way to do manually, and I said, What do you think they did before computers?" Luckily we did not miss the tourney, but it could have amounted to hundreds of wasted $$ not to mention the time involved!!! I will not be back!
