Pretty Nice!Posted Jul 7, 2013 on Hotels.com
It would have been a perfect stay but due to all the construction i can't give it five stars. It was kinda sketchy at first with the office being in a hotel room. But the niceness of the newly remodeled room made up for it.

Construction in hotelPosted Jul 2, 2013
Cons: The a/c temperature could have been improved. A/C did not seem to be able to keep up with the 107 degree day. This is understandable.
Location: Located a short drive from the Ft. Worth Stockyards. Luby's and Whataburger are within a very short walking distance.
When booking via Expedia I did not see that the hotel is going through some construction. The construction itself was not bothersome, other than the hallways not having a/c running. You might go to Marriott's website and check for construction prior to booking if you think this might be an issue for you. We had to enter through one of the alternative entrances and the "lobby" was located in one of the hotel rooms. Again, none of this caused any inconvenience. They were able to get us checked in quickly and without incident. The staff was very warm and inviting and helped us locate nearby businesses as well as conversed with us about where we were from, what we were in town for, etc. Personal service is a plus!

Normally 4.5, under construction 3.5Posted Jun 29, 2013 on Hotels.com
I assume this place is going to be a 5 once it is finished, but for now it's not all that great. I keep it at a 3.5 because it's still not that bad even under construction, but had I known I wouldn't of had my dad stay there. Just not conducive to have a relaxing stay.

Pros: Staff were wonderful and helpful.
Cons: It will be a nice hotel when they have completed remodeling.
Location: Great location. Only 10-15mins from The Stockyards.
Hotel is under construction. Was aware of this prior to arrival. We were in a newly remodeled room which was nice. However, the pool/spa area I was told would be available and the spa was not accessible and the pool had no lighting at night. May not have chosen this hotel if I had known that previously.

Hotel going under renovationPosted Jun 16, 2013
Pros: Location, location, location. Plus their nice staff.
Cons: Once they have finished their upgrades and renovations, they'll be like other Courtyards. Nice place to stay
Location: Go to the Bureau of of Engraving which is a short distance away on Blue Mound Road.
Even though most of the hotel was closed, we still had a most enjoyable stay. The staff were really helpful and so accommodating. The location definitely suited us for site-seeing in downtown Fort Worth and it was relaxing to come out of town in the late afternoon. Kudos especially to the staff.

Bad experiencePosted Jun 6, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel is under major innovation. The rooms are not suitable for services. The rooms are not clean enough. The staff are extremely nice and was able to transfer me to the hotel next door in the middle of the night. It still like a nightmare.

Nice hotel but the nearby construction!!Posted Jun 4, 2013 on Hotels.com
Normally, this hotel would be in a great area, but with all the roadwork being done, it turned out to be something of a logistical nightmare, especially if you got off at the wrong exit. Also, the hotel was undergoing its own renovation so the hallways, stairwells and elevator were not in the best of condition. The room was nice though and they did place us facing the courtyard rather than the noisy highway.

Noisy and OldPosted Jun 3, 2013
Hotel is old and oddly appointed. Pillows were too soft and bed was rock hard and grossly uneven, resulting in sore necks and backs all around. There is construction going on in the hotel, sometimes in the guest room next door, that woke us up every morning. In addition there is major road construction outside the hotel that resulted in it taking an hour to get from the restaurant two miles down the road back to the hotel, and it was a harrowing hour at that. Maybe when the hotel and road construction is finished, but until then, don't bother.

Clean, friendly, safe and doing okay under constraPosted May 31, 2013
Pros: The staff...very, very helpful
Cons: Construction in area
Location: A mess currently
Hotel under renovation...doing the best they can...also significant road construction makes access difficult....
