The area is not the bad.

The elevators were dirty. The walls were thin. We can hear a person coughing all night. There was no control to lower the AC.

Not a bad room for the price, just needed a little lysol. Bed wasn't very comfortable but can't really complain with it being so cheap to stay. Might stay again.

Nice area but horrible room. Doesn't look like picture. Everything needs to be replaced. The only thing nice was the staff.

It was ok...kind of a dodgy area though. Some black mold on the ceiling in the shower. I appreciated the fact that they had silverware and dinnerware in the room. Beds were hard and the t.v was old

Pros: The staff and front desk
Cons: Tell me the rooms only have a shower
Location: Lots and lots of construction going on. Roads closed and detours not clearly defined. You can see where you want to go but can't get there.
First of all, this hotel was very hard to get to. All the road construction played havoc with my GPS. For this reason alone I'd recommend staying at someplace easier to get to. Hotel staff was wonderful. I give them 5 stars - very friendly and helpful. I wish I could say the same for the hotel guests. There seemed to be a lot of long-term residents. I was OK staying by myself but would not want my wife & kids to stay there. The room was clean but there was no bath tub, only a shower. If I had known this I would have stayed at another hotel. Frankly, I though all hotels had bath tubs, but know I know to always inquire. The room was priced right for one night's stay but next time I will pay more to stay at another hotel.

Cons: Bull doze it
Location: did not stay checked out within 2 hours and found another room for less at that
Booked a non smoking room but when I got there they were overbooked and offered a smoking room instead. Had to take it because I could not guarantee another hotel would have a room available. Room was awfull! Stains on the walls and pictures, no remote for the tv, "mini kitchen" was disgusting. Checked out within 2 hours after finding another hotel, which was less expensive and much nicer

Pros: Staff, location and price.
Cons: Breakfast! Laundry is a bit expensive. Dryers could be cheaper.
Location: Walk to everything. Subway, pizza, all night national brand diners near by. Close to interstates.
For expedia unpublished rate, great value. Office staff goes out of the way to make you feel comfortable. Any issue I have is quickly resolved. Others who have left bad comments must be the only few. When you have lots of rooms at an economical price things happen outside of hotels control.

Location: Near major freeway easy access to all parts of the city.
Comfortable and nice for the price. Just as expected for extended stAys
