Pros: There is a quieter - more private - lobby area to the far left of check in.
Located at an highway exit that has not yet fully developed has advantages and disadvantages. The area around the hotel feels more like a quiet office park on the weekends. While there are no restaurants within walking distance, there is a Starbucks on-site and the evening bar has full menu. THis is a nice, clean, quiet place to stay in the North Worth Worth - DFW- Grapevine area. No night life nearby. But if you want to relax after a long flight or drive, this is a good option.

A Unique Marriott

Posted Jul 13, 2015
Pros: The staff is its best feature. Not only helpful but seemingly happy and glad to be there. I also appreciated the convenience of underground parking.
Cons: The bath tub/shower had a very slick bottom and no grab bars. No USB facilities for charging phones and tablets. Bedside lamp was hard to operate.
Location: Between Grapevine and Roanoke, both have good restaurants and theaters. Bonnie and Clyde territory. Grapevine Lake. Some really pretty landscapes.
We lived very close to the hotel when it was built in the 1980's and had never seen anything like its architecture and design. Thirty years later it was good to be back in the neighborhood and stay for a couple of days in this still pleasant and comfortable place. Having only visited for conferences or for an occasional meal, we had never stayed overnight in a room. Perhaps the nostalgia made the experience better, but this typical Marriott room was rather homey to us. The bar and restaurant were familiar, and the staff was extremely kind and helpful. We enjoyed a Starbucks that had not been there before. We look forward to visiting again after the renovation of the hotel and the surrounding area is complete. It could become a destination!

Location: Southlake town square is within close proximity.

Keep looking else where

Posted Jun 13, 2015
Staff VERY nice and professional. Extremely difficult to find but not their fault it's just a new area that's not on ANY navigation. The hote'ls restaurant (Cielo) cost more for breakfast than the sushi fine dinning we ate that night for dinner. Lastly, the hotel is a hefty drive from any other restaurants, stores, race tracks, etc...

David, I was glad to read that our staff made a great impression with you during your recent stay with us. Sorry to hear you found us difficult to find. We have been here for 25 years in the Solana Office Park and are just a short 3 miles from Southlake Town Square with over 100 restaurants and stores. Hope to see you again on your next visit to the DFW area.

What the price you are charged!

Posted May 26, 2015
I was charged $136 but my bill was supposed to be $111. I am hoping they fix the problem soon! The facilities and staff are excellent and the pool area is wonderful.

Great place to stay in Roanoke area

Posted May 22, 2015
Pros: We liked the friendly staff, how clean and comfortable the rooms were and the location to the activity we were in town for.
Cons: The only thing that I noticed that was a negative was the lounge area was right where the check in desk was. It was a little loud when checking in.
We had a great experience at this hotel. The staff was very friendly and the rooms were clean and comfortable. We had reserved a room with a double bed, but when we arrived there were only king size beds available. The staff was very accommodating and arranged for a roll away bed to be delivered to the room for my son. The staff arrived with the roll away bed very quickly. My son was there for a foot ball camp and several of the employees asked him about the camp, which he was excited to talk about. We also went to a Texas Rangers game while in town and upon coming back the staff asked us about the game. We also enjoyed the fruit flavored water that was waiting by the door each time was came back in.
