Cheap price for a cheap hotel.

Posted Jun 26, 2014
Pros: I felt safe.
Cons: Cleaner beds and if its a non smoking room don't have a cigarettes burns on the sheets!
Location: The location was hard to find due to all of the construction! Had to get a police officer to help us.
Didn't think the hotel was bad until we decided to go to bed. There were stains and burns in the comforter! And then when we lifted back the sheets there were crumbs in hair in the bed! It was gross! I don't think they changed the sheets from the previous guest!

I drove umpteen miles and was tired and ready for bed. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was really nice-lots of variety.

Horrible

Would not recommend that anyone stay here. There's no upkeep being done, pool is filled with dirt, doors look like they have been broken into. Clean towels are dingy white. Really too many negatives to report. I have stayed at some hole in the wall hotels before to save money, but this hotel takes the cake. Can't say that you weren't told.

customers first?

I stayed three nights. The first night was great, when I asked for tea they handed it over. My mother traveled with me. The breakfast was very limited and though the stated hours were 6 to 9, they didn't have anyone around to get anything more if they ran out. The first day we came early at 7 and had muffins. the second day we were late, about 8:40 and had juice and only plain toast was left. The third day, we arrived downstairs at 8:20 and found nothing left. I asked the man at the desk who said they were done now and the manager isn't up yet to ask. Granted, it was an inexpensive stay at a location out of the way, but I expected more from the service and the breakfast. The housekeeper, although very pleasant, did not listen when I asked for extra supplies. Aesthetically, it was pretty run down, but to keep the price down I presume the hotel did not want to spend any money on upkeep. The bedding was clean and fairly comfortable, though I prefer a softer mattress, I will know better in the future. I would suggest maybe contacting local bakeries for day old pastries or having more staff available in the morning for regular patrons not working construction hours to replenish breakfast items. Many small things could be improved for little to no money and a larger variety of visitors could bring in more revenue without raising prices.

Good location but place needs to b upgraded

Posted Oct 28, 2013
Only stayed f two nites. Very economical place to stay. Room was decent n bed was comfty. No elavator so had to climb stairs w bad knees. Place says continental bfast but went on both morning n found no coffee but hot water coming out. All there was to eat was 4 slices of bread, butter,, that was it. With money I saved on the room rate I had enough to eat bfast at McDonalds..

Horrible place to stay

Posted Oct 18, 2013
Pros: Nothing
Cons: remodel it
Location: not much, had to drive a few miles to find a good place to eat
The bathroom toilet tried to fill the tank every 2-3 minutes, the shower faucet not secured, the bathroom ceiling paint was peeling off and missing is some spots, the maid didn't clean the previous occupant's razor and soap off the top of the shower ledge. The bed springs were all but non-existant. Poor access due to road construction.
