“Convenient to FWorth/Dallas - great staff!”
3 couples stayed at this inn for 5 days/4 nights to attend events in FW. Hotel is convenient to the Fort Worth Stockyards, Will Rogers memorial stadium, History & Science Museum, etc. The hotel is currently being renovated under new management, and the work is inobtrusive. Rooms are extra clean, bathroom was spotless, carpet is aged (clean but shows signs of wear) and will be replaced soon. Breakfast includes fresh fruit, cereals, and a waffle maker. Can't say enough about the staff - Jessica took our reservations (and corrected an error made by Expedia). The night staff was great, and made our stay totally enjoyable and effortless. The manager of the hotel made sure we had no issues. Hotel was quiet, in a small neighborhood, and was equipped with extremely comfortable, clean, bug-free beds!! We were all very happy with our stay.
“This was a great experience from the reservation to the actual stay.”
The hotel was conveniently located to shopping and community events. I had everything I needed and my stay was great.
“Would definately stay there again”
It was a very pleasant stay. We really liked the location. We had access to many places to eat and to the Interstate for going to the Softball Tournament we were attending. The room had carpet that was a little worn, but was clean , had plenty of space, and although our room didn't have a microwave, we did have a fridge and everything else we needed. Very cimfortable bed, etc.
“Great place to stay at a great price”
This hotel was very quiet, the staff was friendly and approachable. The one thing that was wrong with the room (the TV didn't work) was fixed immediately. We would definitely stay again.
“Loads of elbow room & large fridge!”
We were pleasantly surprised to find this hotel to be quiet, comfortable and roomy. The decor was so-so, and the carpet less than pristine, there were minor maintenance issues such as door numbers being replaced with paper tags. This is a smaller hotel, and there is no elevator to the second floor. But, even so close to the freeway, we heard no road noise. The bathroom was large enough to be handicap-accessible and there was ample hot water. Our comfy king-sized bed was accompanied by a nice loveseat (I assume it can fold out to a bed), a desk, a nearly full-sized fridge, chest of drawers topped with a large TV, and a microwave that should have been placed on top of the fridge. Even with all of this, there is a small closet and a large corner to pile your gear. The bedsheets were luscious, and we had plenty of towels. The wierd, "marshmallow" pillow cubes on the bed were cute, but not made for a human head to rest upon. Good thing I travel with my own pillow! There is a pool, but it is tiny and in December was helf-filled with green water & trash. Maybe a better use would be a jacuzzi and exercise room... The continental breakfast included muffins, bagels, bread, and a make-your-own Belgian waffle machine. Juice was watered down, or might have been a cheap brand. Coffee, milk and water were also available. I booked this room hoping it wouldn't be a noisy, dirty place with lumpy bedding. It was none of those things, and we will definitely be back.
“Good price”
We had a nice stay, and they were nice enough to move us to another room when we asked for one that had not been smoked in. Breakfast could have added more fresh fruit or some yogurt, but was open earlier than advertised, which was great.
“Good for the money and location”
The room was clean and new. If you need the basics and want to be close to the mall and chain-type places this is a great place. If you have a GPS unit you can find everything you need easily.
“Good.”
Room was clean and in very good condition. The staff was friendly and helpful.
“Not horrible...”
You get what you pay for. Not horrible. Nice place to lay your head down for the night. Hotel could be updated and remodeled.
“Go somewhere else!”
When we arrived I had to explain to the desk clerk how it works to book a room on expedia. She read a credit card number off to me asking if it was mine which it was not. The first room we had there was no remote for the tv, and the drawers all had piles of dirt in them. I went to the front desk to ask for a remote and at first she said that she would try and get one but could not promise anything, I asked to be switched to a different room which she did but first she had to go an check out rooms to see "what condition they were in" before she could give us one of them. She finally gave us a different room. Next door was a family with small children. Their door was opened everytime we passed by and they were quite noisy. We left to go to dinner and returned at about 10:30P.M. and tried to go to bed but the kids next door were out int he hall running up and down the hall, including one small child wearing only diapers. The bed was quite hard, the carpet was dirty, even sticky in places, and the beadspread had cigarette burns all over it. Sleep was difficult and we were ready to leave the next morning. I know previous ratings rated this hotel quite good but there is a sign on the building saying, "grand opening" so I wonder if the previous ratings were based on the previous management.
