Motel next to Convention Center

Posted Mar 3, 2014
Pros: Great Water pressure and comfortable beds. Next door to the Downtown Convention Center.
Cons: * Update new double pane windows & doors and bring the bathroom up to date. New TV stand / Dresser (all in one was about to fall apart.
Location: Convention Center, close to downtown shops and restaurants and parks. Bus stop outside hotel.
Friendly staff to meet you at check in. My Room was on the 3rd Floor - close to the street and about the restaurant / Bar. This is a older motel - room was clean except a dirty shower curtain. The Shower/ tub was well used and stained, Excellent Shower water pressure. Yellow tiles bathroom from the 70's - Could use some updating their. Shower wall rod holders were rusted and the Bathroom ceiling had two old water stains. Nice large Sink counter with lots of space. Very old coat hanger shelf - rusted and only a few hangers for you clothing. Iron board and Iron work fine. The bed was comfortable and clean. The outer window's are single pane and the door had a large gap in the frame which it didn't keep the cold air out. The room just felt cold even with the heater blasting.(we had a cold spell of weather when I visited town - low 20's) Every street noise and restaurant noise came right through the walls and window of the room. .

Noisy!

Posted Mar 3, 2014
Pros: Staff were professional, courteous, and helpful. Rooms are nice.
Cons: Sound proofing.
Location: Easy access to restaurants and downtown meetings.
While rooms are nice, the bar below rooms is very loud and walls are thin. Difficult to sleep with loud music and parties in an adjacent room.

Great location, poor quality

Posted Mar 3, 2014
The beds were made with flat sheets, and the mattress was exposed. Wifi is not available in the guest rooms.

Don't expect quiet and comfort.

Posted Mar 3, 2014
There is no mention of a bar on the lower floor. Needless to say, you will hear the music play until the bar closes. The rooms are very drafty so you hear everything outside. Cars and people walking by your windows. You could feel the springs on the bed. One side of the bed just sank as you sat on the edge. I cleaned the toilet seat myself as there were hairs on the seat when I got in my room. No wifi. The internet access is an old computer down by the front desk. The only saving grace was the staff who were very nice.

cheap hotel near downtown

Posted Feb 24, 2014
Pros: The price and location
Cons: Needs to have updates performed
Location: Across the street from Fort Worth convention center
Rooms seem very dated and need of updates and repairs. The bathroom door was broken into four pieces and would not close. I wasnt expecting alot from the price we paid. Was last hotel in downtown with a room. The employees are nice and do the best they can with what they have to work with.

Park central

We decided not to stay after seeing the room. The staff was nice but the hotel was not worth the price. We were not aware that there were outside rooms.

Old but reasonable

Posted Feb 12, 2014
Park central is older and a worn, but my room was clean and the staff was nice. The location and price made it work for me. All I needed was a clean bed each night after a long workday. It's certainly nothing fancy but much less expensive than other options near the convention center.

Pros: Price and location
Cons: Don't drive dually trucks there because the parking is made for smaller vehicles
Location: Down town so lots of stuff to do.
Was pleased with the Hotel Facilities for the price. It is an older building but was clean.

NOT WORTH THE MONEY

Posted Jan 27, 2014
Pros: NOTHING
Cons: EVERYTHING
Location: If you are a partier then stay there because you are around the bar area and it is extremely loud and you would have to be drunk to stay there anyway
There was no air at all in the room so had to open the grate above the door and listen to all the noise all night long and still burned up. The toilet would not flush, the sink would not drain and the room was so small you could barely walk around and I was scared to walk around without my shoes on.

Park Center Hotel

Posted Jan 24, 2014
Pros: 0
Cons: Everything. the location is not good.
The moment I drove up to the hotel, I was surprised that Expedia actually had recommended it. The rooms open up directly to the street. It looked dingy and unsafe for a single woman. I called them and complained and cancelled my reservation and they said I had to call Expedia. When I did contact Expedia, they told me the hotel had already charged me. I am looking for a credit of $204.72 from either the hotel or Expedia. Beverly Addingtl
