“Nothing fancy but it is in a very convenient location.”
Room: Clean Tub: Clean but stained Coffee Pot, Fridge & Microwave: NONE Breakfast: Coffee in lounge along with some fruit and granola bars in a bowl. Internet: Had to use a cord to connect but good connection Ice Machines: All but the one by the office were broken Ceiling tiles in bathroom heavily stained Smoke free hotel but there are some smoking areas outside Near Amtrak station, we walked there from the hotel in just a few minutes Nothing as far as breakfast fare within walking distance that we found A map of local eateries would be a nice touch for those of us walking instead of renting a car.
“Great If You're at the Convention Center”
I attended a conference at the Ft Worth Conference Center, which is literally across the street, so the convenience and price couldn't be beat. However, if you are a light sleeper, this place IS NOT for you. With the exterior hallways and large windows, you hear every truck that goes down the busy street or horn that is honked. This was the only downside that I experienced, the staff was very helpful and the room was clean, though a tad outdated furnishing wise. Try the restaurant downstairs, Mambo's, it was good for me and they had live music
“Mixed Feelings”
Desk employees very nice. No toilet tissue, no hair dryer, no kleenex, phone out of order; items that should be available for the price. Location perfect for Convention Center. Supposed to pay for hotel parking but did not.
“Unforgetable expereince - no matter how hard youmight try!”
This hotel's location, directly across the street from the convention center made it quite convenient. That's about the only thing this place had going for it. It was about 25% less per night than the other, name brand, equally well placed hotels, but was a complete embarrassment. If you MUST save the money it is a a serviceable place. But if you care about what other business associates might think about you, pass it up. Also, don't bring a woman here, or you will never see her again. If you bring you're wife, she'll never let you forget it.
“If you have to be there”
If you are attending an event at the Ft. Worth Convention Center, it is a great location. I feel the Hotel was overpriced for what is was. The elevator smelled like it was the dust collector for the whole hotel. The door to my room had a 1/4" gap at the bottom and not very well insulated. Thankfully the street noise quieted down about 10pm on Sunday. Would not want to have to sleep there during the day. Although the hotels outward appearance was pleasing for being in downtown, the resturant downstairs has good mexican food, and the covered parking area is really nice, if you can deal with the others for the sake of convenience, it beats the traffic of getting to downtown. If you do not have to be downtown or could afford the higher price places, go for the less noise and less dust.
“restrooms need to have more care”
we notice the parking space is not big enough for customers, also the parking underground didn't work so people need to leave theyre cars inside because the passcode didn't work, restroom didn't have ciling fan for odors (you know) but the only good thing is that was across street from the place that i was visiting.
“Convenient to Convention Center”
I did not have to do anything but sleep for a total of 10 hours for 2 days; therefore, it was alright because of its location. It was not the best but it was not that bad either. I would stay there again, it is just not the OMNI!
“CONVENIENT AND CLOSE TO CONVENTION CENTER”
Like the close proximity to eating and meetings
“A good hotel (with reservations)”
The staff was polite, helpful, prompt, and professional, and the location in downtown Fort Worth is a chief strength of the hotel. It seems, however, that the hotel has seen better days. Of the two elevators, only one functioned at all -- and that operational elevator would not ascend directly to my floor; instead, I had to overshoot on the way up and then descend back down to my floor. The hotel room was clean, although the bathroom door looked scruffy, the bathtub looked somewhat worn, and the sink had a mysterious brown stain that could have been cleaned away. While I would stay at this hotel again, I would do so only at a lower rate than what I paid for my visit.
“Location good, amenities not”
The location across the street from the Ft. Worth Convention Center is extremely convenient. However, the hotel is somewhat run-down, and the air conditioning wasn't working. The receptionist said that the air conditioning system had been switched over to cold-weather conditions. It was about 80 degrees in my room. They did send up someone with a fan, which helped quite a bit.
