“Fine hotel”

Nice hotel, nice large rooms.

“Residence Inn on the Trinity”

The best thing about my room was the view to the Trinity River. In the morning I sat on the balcony overlooking the river, watching the bicyclist and joggers, the people out walking their dogs, and a Saturday morning soccer game across the river in the park. If you get a room here it is well worth it to request a room on the second floor with a balcony overlooking the Trinity. The room was clean, well furnished, and economical. There is an IHOP directly across the street, howeve their complimentary morning breakfast is very good.

“Better Customer Service Would Help”

The location and facilities at this property were great, as was the room. The staff however, was not always helpful.

“Good Hotel”

The room was spacious and clean. It had a full fridge, microwave, stove, and place settings for 4 people. The front desk staff were friendly, happy, and helpful. The full, free breakfast buffet was very good. Also, the location was good: it was close to the Fort Worth Zoo and TCU, and there were many stores and restaurants within walking distance.

“Location better than hotel”

This hotel has many advantages in terms of location and amenties, but it is just a little worn. The bathrooms were in good shape, but the carpet was worn and the furniture a little bunged up. It would be fine for a family that was concerned about economy.

“Disappointed”

I was really disappointed with my recent stay here. I have actually stayed at this hotel a few different times about five years ago and I was shocked at how the quality of the hotel has gone down. *The desk service was bad/rude. *The inside of the room had been damaged and repaired poorly. *A lot of updating is needed. *You could only get the front door closed by slamming due to it being damamged *The shower didn't have hot water on the first day. *My spouse and I both ended up getting bug bites while sleeping in the bed. *The fire place is wood burning so make sure to bring your own firewood when traveling on an airplane. *The day I was checking out the cleaning staff came by four different times to clearn the room (once while I was in the shower). How hard is it for the desk to let the cleaning staff know which occupants checked out and when. *They didn't have a phone book in the room nor additional ones at the front desk, so expect to bring all address and phone numbers with you to restraunts, etc. Positive Notes: *The location is great to walk to restraunts or do a little outdoor mall shopping. There is a Barnes and Noble and a Starbucks for your enjoyment too. *Close to Texas Christian University *The continental breakfast they provide is one of the better ones I have had so kudos to them. *Some other staff members appeared friendly. *There is a computer in the lobby for you to use.
