I stayed in room 410, and I don't think the bathroom has been cleaned properly in a long time! The toilet was filthy down the sides with poop that had been there for a long time. The shower walls were also very dirty, and the room floor as well.

Hotel maravilhoso!
Hotel maravilhoso, irei voltar mais vezes. O café da manhã é bem sortido, os funcionários sempre prestativos, eu tenho uma filha de quase 3 anos e o espaço de playground pra ela brincar e o copa baby pra eu preparar o leite da mesma, lavar utensílios , etc. pra mim é o diferencial, eles pensam em todos os estilos de pessoa, vai do lazer em família a uma hospedagem solo.

Beira Mar Hotel is an ideal location in the newly renovated beach area. Although I was here for business, I wish I were here for vacation. It’s great for anyone who loves to relax at the beach and have all the conveniences of a hotel nearby.

This is an excellent hotel! The price beats other hotels on Beira Mar, the facility is clean and comfortable, the staff attentive and the location excellent (Uber and taxis very accessible) I've stayed in this hotel more than 40 times over the years and always choose it even when 5-star hotels are available. Though only a 3-star, its value easily outranks a 5-star! You won't go wrong by staying at Hotel Beira Mar!

I travel often to Fortaleza and have consistently chosen Hotel Beira Mar as my preferred hotel since 2004. I've stayed in many hotels on the Beira Mar beach front and this one, without exception, though technically a "lesser" hotel compared to the big ones, is a head and shoulders above ALL the competition. The staff is amazing, the facilities very much up to "American" expectations, the location is excellent (both visually and logistically), and the breakfast buffet is phenomenal! The staff and management are long-termers and they carry their excellence consistently through the years. You cannot go wrong staying here!

Excellent stay, I would return again
Very close, nearly in front of actually, to the artisan market that is open nightly on Beira Mar. The room and common areas were tidy and well kept with comfortable furniture and plenty of space. Each room has its own AC unit that was strong enough to keep the room temperate, even when it is 90 degrees outside. The ocean facing rooms have privacy glass that allows you to see out, but keeps others from seeing in. Complimentary breakfast was filling and typical of Brazilian breakfast fare. Hotel front desk staff spoke English as well as Portuguese. Ample parking in a self service parking garage at the back of the hotel (protected by security and an automatic door)

Nice hotel, great very professional and smoky stuff st the reception - check-in was very quick and nice. Clean room, location is perfect. For Brazilian hotels average standard I should say this hotel is amazing! Also one of the best I stayed in Fortaleza.

The place is OK. Service at check in was the best part of my stay. My room was on the small side, with a view to a side street. The pool was very small for a 4* hotel and breakfast was average by brazilian standards. It had fruit and juices and decent bread... but nothing to write home about.

My wife and I have traveled often. We have stayed at the Beira Mar on three seperate ocassions in the past 5 years. This was the WOREST experience we have had. For 5 days we stayed in room that was the size for a single bed,yet they had put a double sized bed in the room. In order to get from side of the bed to the other you had to shuffel side ways to reach it. The space of the bed to the counter at the end of the bed was less than 8 inches. You can only imagen the size of the room. When we asked to be moved the desk personal said all the rooms were taken. The air-conditioner was bed level so at night you had this flow of air in your face. Result a cold for my wife. We were also asked to Pay for the five days as we checked in. Never had this been asked of us.

The only time I have stayed in Fortelaza so I'm not sure what to compare the hotel to. My room was clean but very dated and small. The staff worked very hard to keep guest happy and they let me check out 3 hours late due to my flight time with no problems. I would give the staff an A+. The value for what i paid and what my room looked like I would give a C.

Recomendo desde que melhorem esses pontos.
Gostei da estadia. Mas gostaria de apontar algumas observações. As toalhas estavam sujas de batom, o ar condicionado com vazamento, tinha um vazamento na ducha do banheiro, e quanto as opções de café da manha deixou a desejar. Alimentos não frescos, já estavam ali prontos algum tempo. Tirando isso foi muito bom. Recepcionista muito atenciosa e prestativa, e muito flexível. Só alguns pontos que podem ser melhorados. Desde já muito grato!
