“excellent motel for the money”

since this motel was recently refurbished it was brand new. the room was very clean and the pillowtop mattress was comfortable. we found the host to be very friendly and willing to make our stay as pleasant as possible. we would highly recommend this motel to others.

My husband and I just needed to get away for a couple of nights. Didn't want to spend a lot of money on a room, but wanted some peace and quiet. This Super 8 fit the bill. They've made these rooms very comfortable with their recent renovation and the housekeeping crew has kept them up quite nicely. The staff is friendly and quick to respond to any of your needs. Kudos to Super 8, Fortuna.

“What I expected.”

Very clean hotel with qood view of Moro Rock. Nothing extra ordinary about the hotel, but nothing wrong with it either. Had a clean room, quiet at night, and a reasonable price.

Great service & a decent hotel. It is next to a Brew Pub which is convienent if you like beer.

“hotel is sufficient for 1 night stay”

The hotel is more than sufficient for 1 night stay. Though it is quite expensive for it. But unfortunately, in the neighbourhood all cheaper hotels had too bad reviews (in Eureka and Arcata), so we had to overpay. The breakfast is amazing - you can prepare waffles by yourself :)

“Nice quiet area”

The motel is located in a picturesque area next to the Eel river. and just a short drive to the historic cikty of Ferndale
