Forum Shops at Caesars Tours

Forum Shops showing a fountain and a statue or sculpture
Choose one or more items to build your trip:
Shop amidst faux golden statues at the Caesars Palace hotel and casino — opulent retail at its best.

Forget a quick trip to this mall for a postcard. Exploring the Forum Shops may require a day or two of your attention.

Built to resemble streets in ancient Rome, the Forum is replete with elaborate columns and arches, two central piazzas, each with its own enormous, Romanesque fountain, and assorted classical statues. A true fantasyland, even the Forum’s ceiling is painted to resemble the sky.

Unlike most malls, the details of the Forum’s layout and facilities are an attraction worthy of setting some time aside to appreciate. From the spiral staircases that appear suspended in midair to a 50,000-gallon (189,270-liter) saltwater aquarium, it’s easy to wander around and window shop for hours here.

Those who’ve emptied their pockets at the casinos the night before are in luck because there’s some spectacular free entertainment here. In the building’s west wing, the Festival Fountain Show brings Roman gods to life, complete with lasers, music and sound effects. Arrive early to get a front row seat for the Fall of Atlantis Show, next to the Cheesecake Factory. Watch a frenzy of thunderous sound, animatronics and pyrotechnics in the reenactment of the destruction of the mythical city of Atlantis.

Pry yourself away from the entertainment for some retail therapy. The Forum’s 160 stores cater to all tastes and budgets, from top-end labels like Dolce & Gabbana, Louis Vuitton and Christian Dior to mid-tier brands like Nike, The Gap and Guess.

If all that retail is making your stomach rumble, there are plenty of dining options, including cafes, specialty food shops and restaurants, sushi bars, upscale seafood and steak. You’ll find trendy chains where you can get everything from a high-end burger to classic Italian. And there’s no shortage of dessert options as well.

For timeout, hit the Forum’s Qua Baths and Spa for one of its indulgent Roman-themed treatments or pampering rituals.

The Forum shops are located at Caesars Palace, which is in the middle of The Strip, right next door to Bellagio. The monorail stops there, as does the public bus and mini-bus shuttles. Check with your hotel concierge for day rates on bus and monorail passes.
