Great Location for Iguaza Falls Visit

Posted Aug 9, 2013 on Hotels.com
We stayed at Hostel Normandie for 2 nights during our visit to Iguazu Falls. IT was a great location right near the bus stops for both the Brazil and Argentina sides of the falls. The hostel itself was a little dead, but all the accommodations were good. Hot shower, free breakfast, and wifi.. That was all we needed!

Normandy, Foz do Iguacu

Posted Jan 9, 2012 on Hotels.com
Very run down. Very hot--air conditioner could not keep the room cool. Very noisy. Could not keep the room dark at night. Extremely uncomfortable bed. It was the worst bed we have had in two months of travel. Compares very unfavourably to other hotels we have stayed at in Brazil and Argentina that are similarly priced.

very outdated and fillthy, very unfriendly staff, noisy air con, like 40 yrs old, very hot inside with plenty of dirt and insects in the room, broken glass in windows, could not close properly. the sheets keep slipping cause there is nothing to hold it to the matress very poor electrical suplies with naked (unprotected) cables hanging around horrible place to stay
