I was very impressed by the property and the staff. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. It looks like they have expansion plans to make the place even more amazing. The rooms were comfortable. The beds were very firm but I liked them. The air conditioning was very cold. The drinks were good and reasonably priced. They had adequate games. We enjoyed the bowling. Also the massage was well priced and very good. I would go back again and recommend to others.

Some of the staff walk in the hallways tourists be damned. Taking up 2/3 of the walkway. Most were very nice and accommodating.

Nice hotel, poor room view and disturbing employee
Hotel is nice, but it seems there is a Human Resources problems as employees were complaining about wages. Poor internet connectivity! There are sales guys disturbing and trying to sell time sharing while you are resting at the pool. Hotel was empty, but it was given a poor view from the room. Probably I wouldn’t return!

Hey For the non Portuguese speaking crowd this is the place to be. The pools are great. Staff is excellent. Food is wonderful. Very safe and friendly. It’s all good.

The hotel is good and eco friendly. Unfortunately the thermen treatments are very bad. I used it 3 (body massage, hairsalon and face treatment). I got an allergic reaction. The thermen staff is seriously not experienced. That is why they make you pay in advance for all the treatments. VERY BAD!!!

Great value. Too Covid risky right now.
Great pools area. Good breakfast (but the same variety everyday). Stayed in older rooms. Not bad, but deserve an upgrade. Good staff. Quick room services. PROBLEM: too much people, no real covid distancing measures (marks on the ground are not used), people don’t comply and don’t care. There’s no orientation or measures from the hotel to keep people apart. We won’t go back before the pandemic ís over.

Reception desk were very helpful and assisted in every way possible. The bell boys were exceptional, they deserve 5 stars. Was a little disappointed with the towels, thin, small and smelled of bleach when wet. Bathrooms need some updating. Our stay otherwise was very good, gym is well equipped.

Excellent: Great scented lobby The restaurant was great. A lot of activities for family entertainment, which felt like a cruise. A great New Year's family and friendship floating candle ceremony in the pool. Not so good: Wear and tear noticed in the facilities. It may need a rehab soon. The room very small, but comfortable. The dry/wet sauna did not meet our expectations.

During our recent trip to Foz do Igaucu, we stayed at this hotel and did not have a good experience. I ate the Mediterranean sandwich at the pool bar and fell ill with severe stomach pains that lasted a few days. When we reported the issue to the hotel, they were quite dismissive. It took multiple attempts to have the sandwich alone removed from the bill and I never received an apologize. Even when we got a manager involved he was quite impersonal and unapologetic.

Recanto is an affordable stay in Iguacu and one can expect everything else accordingly: loud music at the pool, bright Christmas decoration, large dining halls with every day the same buffet... It is some 30 minutes away from the falls (Brazilian side) and 45 from the Argentina side (border crossing included). Paraguay shopping malls are very close to Recanto (15 - 20 minutes border x-sing included).

Nice hotel but small rooms
The hotel is big and amazing. It focuses a lot on families as everything involves children. The swimming pool is fantastic and buffet breakfast is delicious. The hotel has loads of entertainment and things to do. However, I did not like my room as it was not what I paid for. The room was a “matrimonial room” as they called it. It means that it is for couples. I was with my boyfriend. The room was extremelly small for one night stay that cost me more than £200 including breakfast for two, which I consider that was extremelly expensive for the room they gave us. The hotel in general is good but it is not value for money if all rooms are as what we got. If you are travelling with children, it is the perfect hotel for you.

The architecture of this hotel seems outdated and odd, but the interior of my room was modern, spacious, and very comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised when I checked in by receiving a free room upgrade.

This is a very good hotel for a Brazilian city outside of São Paulo. It has all of the comforts needed for a relaxing stay with your family! The Falls(Foz do Iguacu) are a must see from both countries and with Paraguay so close you might as well visit 3 amazing and amazingly different countries, while you are there.

Great all inclusive hotel
Beautiful, all inclusive hotel. Whilst this hotel is slightly out of the way and not very close to restaurants. It is an AMAZING hotel. The service was great, the pool was beautiful, wonderful food, there was a full buffet for dinner, clean comfy rooms and excellent service. So if you’re looking for a place where you don’t need to leave your little slice of paradise, this is the place. My only slightly negative point is that there is very little sound buffering between the rooms.

Perfect place to relax
Really thought hard trying to find any fault with the hotel. Couldn’t! Pools look welcoming and staff very friendly and knowledgeable. We were expecting the usual half board evening meal... not a chance! Terrific food as well. Wife complained that I only booked four days.
