“Can't go wrong if low cost is what you're looking for”

Yes, the room is small and doesn't have a chair. Yes, the hardwood floor is actually vinyl. Yes, the furnishings are extremely bare. Yes, there is no telephone. And yes, everything on the unusually highly elevated 12 inch TV is dubbed in German. But the hotel, room, and bathrooms are clean and well maintained. The bathroom (I opted for the private bathroom) had all that is needed. The staff is friendly. And the price of the room is incredible. I definitely recommend this hotel, and I would definitely come back to it if I'm ever in town again. However, I wouldn't recommend it for couples because of the bare amenities and tightness of the room, unless they're on an extremely tight budget. The only disadvantage of the hotel is that within a 2 block radius, there are very few options in terms of restaurants and food.

“Fulfils its role very well”

For somewhere to lay your head at night prior to a good breakfast and the rest of the day at large, for a couple of days while, say, visiting Nuernberg's splendid Xmas market, then this fits the bill perfectly. Room furnishing is minimalist so don't expect to unpack much, but very clean and beds comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful though some clearly here to learn the trade and the local language. Fitted our needs perfectly and would certainly be recommended to others.
