Right in downtown Wurzburg.Posted Aug 21, 2013 on Hotels.com
The overall accommodations were very nice but the room was a bit small. This is fairly typical of German hotels so it wasn't that much of a disappointment. The front desk was helpful and the Wurzburg Restaurant, in the hotel, was very good. I would consider staying there again in the future.

A pretty hotelPosted Jan 3, 2013
Pros: Very clean
Cons: No free wifi
Location: Close enough to the main sights
I'd say that this hotel is great overall. Only the shortcoming I found was that the place does not offer free wifi (however, they do offer free internet usage at the reception).

Everything was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was not included, but we found a nice cafe nearby.

well located and easy to findPosted Jul 12, 2012 on Hotels.com
Good location to all must see sights. Easy to find when driving into town. Only down side is not air conditioned. Guess we Americans are spoiled.

Hotel Strauss - Right in the heart of the cityPosted Jan 3, 2012 on Hotels.com
We spent the evening here and had two rooms. The hotel is very nice with an excellent restaurant that is not too expensive. Breakfast was not included so we found a very good local bakery close to the hotel and ate fresh baked goods for a fraction of the breakfast cost. The rooms are small but comfortable and very clean. The staff was excellent and spoke excellent English. The hotels was very convenient to everything in the city center. We were able to walk around town at night and do window shopping etc. Parking is tight and there was a small fee to park. The hotel is located in an area that is high in traffic and short on parking. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. This is a great hotel to use a "base of operations" to see the downtown area. Stores are very close as is the pedestrian foot bridge that crosses the river. In this area of town there are many one-way/narrow streets having GPS was helpful, I would stay here again and really enjoyed this city.

Very polite and caring staffPosted Aug 24, 2011
The down side to this hotel is the lack of air conditioning which during the time we stayed would have been good. Temperatures 2- 31C and this meant we had to have the window open at night to sleep. Unfortunately during the late evening is when the local club is open and creates a lot of noise. Outside of this the hotel was good with a friendly, polite and caring staff and it position is perfect for exploring the city.
