“Would definitely stay here again”

Frankly I am confused by some of the other comments. What is not to like? The hotel is easy to find considering it is within the old city walls, has free semiprivate parking, elevator, free internet, large updated rooms, and keycard entry. The staff spoke good English and was very helpful for us. A laundry charge was reasonable and the service was good. The hotel’s location is good, and a short walk to the shopping areas and then the major plazas. The furthest point is probably the castle at about 20 minutes, although some of it a bit steep. On the other hand the major museum is almost next door. Our next visit to Nuremberg we will definitely return to this hotel.

“Overall good experience in a typical building”

This hotel is located in a old building. Nice and warm feeling in the corridors. Rooms are of a good size and clean. Some points could be improved: - No internet Wifi in the annex building - Limited space for free parking - Double = 2 small beds put side by side... not as comfortable as a real 2 persons bed. Some bars and restaurant around. But pay attention... the red district is close...

“It was ok”

For the Christmas Market the location was perfect within 5 min walking. The people barely spoke any english which sometimes made it difficult. The wifi went out one of the nights I was there and I had to use the computer in the lobby which was inconvenient because anyone that walked into the hotel saw you and wouldn't leave me alone. The second night their internet went out which meant that I couldn't tell my mom I was ok. (I was a single traveler at the age of 19) Overall would I stay there again? Maybe. I loved the location and things were comfortable so it worked.

“Close to Old Town”

We stayed for one night for the Christmas Markets. It is on the edge of Old Town, across the street from the Holiday Inn. It is not a far walk from the train station. The area is very clean and safe, no worries about where you are. The staff was more than helpful. Internet wifi is free which is a big plus. They have a resturaunt with a buffet for 10 euros which was worth it. The room was small, European style, but very clean, and more than adequate. I would stay there again, and can reccomend it for the budget traveler.

“Clean and comfortable, no pretenses”

This property is comfortable and clean located within the town wall and walking distance of Old Nuremburg. The desk was friendly and helpful in that our luggage was missing and they attempted to help as much as they could. The only issue was in being told our breakfast was complimentary and then being charges 27 Euros for breakfast (2 people) upon leaving. The person who stated the breakfast was complimentary was not availabe or present on checkout. The oldest restaurant (1419) in Nuremburg is located nearby and I would suggest stopping in for a beer and sausages. Pleaseant, clean and comfortable accomodations but nothing special.

I stayed at this hotel during Biofach, it was a good value for money. Good location, great service, hotel is a little old overall but it was a pleasant stay. Breakfast is very good.
