“Great location, cute, and nice staff”

A friend of mine and I stayed for one night in Hotel Am Siebersturm and enjoyed it very much. The owner helped get us our internet connection established when we had some trouble, he was very accomodating. Room was small but hey, it is Europe. The hotel location is great and the room we had was near a balcony that had a beautiful view overlooking the valley. It was very enjoyable but of course, too short.

“Cozy hotel”

This hotel is located in the old town of Rothenburg. It's about a 5 min walk to the center of town. The rooms are small but cozy. Extremely clean and up to date. The price is fair for this hotel. There is free parking across the street if you can find a space, but the hotel does offer parking for $6 euros, however I was informed upon check in that you need to reserve the parking space. Expedia does not mention anything about reserving a parking space. Free internet in rooms if you have a laptop. This is huge tourist attraction. It seems that the restaurant staff have attempted our custom of tipping. Our waitress at a nearby hotel/restaurant gave us attitude when I asked for change on my dinner bill, even though I didn't tip in any other city in Germany or Europe. Everthing is within walking distance.

“Great place to stay.”

We have stayed at Hotel am Siebersturm twice and have been very happy there. The rooms are very clean, comfortable and have a bathroom in the room. They also have a nice continential breakfast included in the price, the location is good as you are close to everything but not on a extremely busy street.

“Great Rottenberg location”

Great hotel - excellent location, friendly staff, nice rooms, wonderful breakfast. Very close to wall and main gate entrance to city. Great for exploring, excellent beer gardens near by!

“Excellent Hotel”

Great value for this hotel inside the city walls. Owners are father/son team. Son was very helpful in helping us park and with directions. Free Wifi internet in the Lobby. We enjoyed a beer will surfing the internet in the evenings. Breakfast is included. I would recommend staying within the walls of the city. It is a once in a lifetime experience.!

We got a last minute reservation during the busy Christmas market season. Great location, friendly staff, nice breakfast. Cozy room with a nice view. Careful if you're very tall--somewhat cramped stairwells.

“A very nice family run hotel”

The Hotel am Siebersturm is located inside the walls of the old town and is very close to anything that you want to see of interest. This nine room hotel provides a wonder breakfast and provides meals for the public throughout the day. Parking is available in a private lot across the street. The only issue that I had was with the bed. With both a head and end board on our bed, if you are over 6'2", it could be a very long night.

“Nice Stay”

First of all the town. Anywhere that you might stay in this charming little medieval village it would be nice. Our choice, the Hotel am Siebersturm (inside the walls and very close to one of the towers) was OK. The owner of the hotel left us at home. Our personal contact with him (and his family) was quite irregular. After giving me the key I was free to leave and come back any time I want (which made us feel very confortable). Besides it, just during breakfast when there was always a kind of "hello and goodbye" relationship. The hotel room was charming. Because of two available rooms on the top he gave me the chance to choose between them which made us decide for probably the most beautilful view in town: the valley and the surroundings walls.
