“Excelent Hotel”
Excelent hotel in all respects, the only thing that should be consideret is that the rooms vary in size and shape because it's a very old hotel, so it is possible to get a quite different rooms, ours was beautiful.
“Fabulous hotel, but don't bring your kids”
Le Meridien is a fabulous high end hotel. We arrived with our two young children and got the impression that they were not welcome. If you want a snooty hotel, this is it. The location is wonderful and decor lovely. The bathroom was palatial. However, we were surprised that for such a fancy/expensive hotel that they wanted to charge for WiFi. It was the only hotel that we encountered in Germany that charged (exorbitantly) for Internet service. Overall, a very nice hotel but really only for adults.
“Nuremberg”
The hotel was very nice and perfectly located for walking the old town.
“vacation”
The room was way too small and the air condintioning was not working and they would not switch to a room with air because they said they did where full. So they provided a fan which I could not plug in
“Le Meridien Nurnberg”
I've stayed at the Le Meridien several times, in the big suite with the living room and in the deluxe 2 person suite and had my brother in a single room. The valet service is convenient but keep in mind it costs 17 euros per day and you are charged additionally each time the valet fetches your car. In the big suite everything was good, I had no complaints. I regret that internet is not free as it should be in a 5 star hotel (in my opinion). Also, the deluxe suite and the single room did not have slippers. The glass see through door on the bathroom door in the deluxe suite makes it awkward to use the bathroom if you have guests and even with your spouse in the room this is an awkward set up. Location and convenience is top notch here for my frequent trips to Nurnberg but as in most all hotels in Germany they are still behind other countries in some aspects of comfort and inclusive services. Also, I had booked online for the deluxe suite with a king size bed and it ended up being a queen size bed and by the time I noticed we had already unpacked so I didn't mention it. Overall, still one of the best hotels in Nurnberg.
“Lovely Hotel”
The hotel was clean and comfortable. Our room was well stocked and had towel warmers. The staff was helpful and courteous. The location of the hotel was very accessible to the shopping area and the "old town".The breakfast was pricey but delicious.
“Enjoyable Experience”
We arrived in Nuremberg via train and this hotel was perfect considering it was just across the street. Upon check-in the front desk staff could not have been more helpful or friendly. The hotel is located at the edge of old Nuremburg and there are many many restaurants and pastry shops to choose from. This is important as the hotel restaurant is quite expensive and breakfast was not included. The rooms were on the smaller side but were well appointed and modern. We would definitely stay at this location again!
“germany”
The Hotel is right across the street from the train station. It is also right across the street from the Old City. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Spoke English which helped. I think the only negative was that their breakfast buffet was not included. Cost of buffet was pretty expensive but you are only 2 blocks away from some nice cafes.
“we visit nurnberg twice a year and always stay ot the le'meridian”
everything about our visit was excellent to include the jazz group in the bar.
“convenênt, pleasant, good value”
my parents lived in this hotel 2 years from 1947-49 (!). Sentimental value for me - but objectively also a fine hotel.
