“Excelent Hotel”

Excelent hotel in all respects, the only thing that should be consideret is that the rooms vary in size and shape because it's a very old hotel, so it is possible to get a quite different rooms, ours was beautiful.

“Lovely Hotel”

The hotel was clean and comfortable. Our room was well stocked and had towel warmers. The staff was helpful and courteous. The location of the hotel was very accessible to the shopping area and the "old town".The breakfast was pricey but delicious.

“Super”

We booked this hotel due to its closeness to the Kristkindelmarkt. We booked a junior suite. We walked into the room and all three (son included) said Wow! It was beautifully decorated and huge. It had a huge bedroom and a huge living room. I still wonder if we were not upgraded to a regular suite without anyone saying so. The staff was very helpful. We arrived quite early and they worked at getting us into a room quickly. We ate in the restaurant and the food was quite good, expensive but so are all really nice restaurants in Europe. The hotel is located right next to the old town and across from the rail station.

“Enjoyable Experience”

We arrived in Nuremberg via train and this hotel was perfect considering it was just across the street. Upon check-in the front desk staff could not have been more helpful or friendly. The hotel is located at the edge of old Nuremburg and there are many many restaurants and pastry shops to choose from. This is important as the hotel restaurant is quite expensive and breakfast was not included. The rooms were on the smaller side but were well appointed and modern. We would definitely stay at this location again!

“Wonderful old hotel”

My husband and I stayed at the Grand Hotel Meridian last October 2005. It was a wonderful stay. We arrived at 8:00 a.m. and our room was waiting for us. The staff was very attentive to any request. We chose to stay at the Grand Hotel as more than 41 years ago my husband was stationed with the Army in nearby Erlangen and he and his friends used to go there to eat whenever they got off the train. The hotel is central, across the street from the train station and the walled city. Easy walking area. Sidewalk restaurants were nearby. The restaurant food was excellent. Showers were great. We were very comfortable during our stay. We will certainly recommend the Grand Hotel to friends.

“Just Steps Away from the Past”

Located on the edge of the old walled city and across from the train station, make its location more than ideal. You can imagine the surprise we got when we thought we had booked a comfortable room only to find when we opened the door that we were staying in a beautiful spacious suite!

“Will stay here again”

The service at the Meridien Grand is excellent. It seemed like most of the staff knew my name by the time I left. The restaurant is very good, but the breakfast buffet is fairly expensive (22 Euros). The hotel is located directly across the street from one of Nuremberg's main subway stations do getting around the city is a breeze. Wireless access is not free, but you can purchase a wireless pre-paid card from the front desk. I would definitely stay here again.
