A great hotelPosted Jul 13, 2014
Pros: Comfort, cleanliness and friendly staff. Excellent breakfast.
Cons: Larger pool, please!
Location: Not far from town centre. We enjoyed a boat trip along the Main, a bus trip up to the fort and wandering around the town.
We stayed in this hotel for six nights and couldn't fault it at all. The staff were friendly and helpful at all times. We had a problem with our safe on arrival and it was dealt with immediately. Also, we asked for extra pillows which were delivered promptly. I was disappointed in the pool - it was extremely small, so I didn't bother using it. Wi if was a bit erratic, but this wasn't a problem for us as we only used it in the evening for relaxation, not business.

Excellent hotelPosted Jul 8, 2014
Pros: Good location and facilities, comfortable room, very clean and well maintained. Helpful staff.
Cons: Breakfast seemed expensive.
Location: Excellent location, easily accessible, and walking distance from the sights of the old city of Wurzburg.
Only overnight, so did not make full use of facilities, but would stay there again

Booked specifically for a comfortable bed, but...Posted May 4, 2014
Pros: Fairly clean, handy for the albeit small old town, parking on the premises, refreshing small swimming pool.
Cons: Pay proper attention to guest requests when allocating rooms.
Location: Stroll around the charming town and the Residence gardens. Visit the laboratory where X-rays were first identified. Watch the river traffic.
Knowing what many "double" beds are like, I specifically booked this particular hotel on the promise of a queen size double bed. I emphasised the need for one bed of double-size proportions under "specific requests". Arriving fairly late, I got the usual two small beds pushed together and woke up on the floor in between. Clearly booking through Expedia did not produce the desired result. I could have wasted some hours the following day changing rooms, but my time in the city was short and I wanted to try to enjoy the rest of the visit. The failure to deliver as promised was a definite disappointment.

Pros: proximity to many attractions
Cons: room setup
Location: many attractions nearby--walkable distance
overall very good--friendly staff and very good service. They pick up the phone immediately after you call--unlike many other hotels!

Average business Hotel.Posted Feb 14, 2014
Does everything averagely...nothing exceptional. Breakfast too expensive. Free wifi slow and unreliable. Clean rooms. Bit dated.

Top NotchPosted Jan 1, 2014 on Hotels.com
This is a excellent hotel. It is aimed at the business community, however it is perfect for a stop over or a base to sight see Wurzburg. The staff were polite and helpful and I would definitely stay here again. My children loved the pool and spa area.

Overall good - but the rooms were way too hot and adjusting the temp wasn't obvious

Pleasant stay in a nice townPosted Dec 17, 2013 on Hotels.com
Nice hotel. What you would expect for a Novotel. Personally it is a pity there isn't complimentary Internet in the rooms (only in the bar).
