“CONVENIENT, CLEAN HOTEL”

Desk staff very nice, welcoming and helpful with a map and marking places we would like to see. TV would not work and a gentleman came up right away (cable had been disconnected.) There were no English speaking channels, but he informed us they would have some in the future. It was a 6-8 block walk to the train station, which we did with no problem. Rooms on the small side, but a nice clean hotel.

Near a central U bahn station Near the old city Hotel staff were friendly and obliging. The room was so well insulated that it was one of the quietist I have slept in. An excellent breakfast buffet. I would highly recommend it

“Nice place in Nuremberg”

This 3-star hotel is as good as many 4 star hotels at which I've stayed in Europe. The rooms are good size, the beds good, linens and towels seemed new and fresh, and the place was immaculately clean. The hotel is an easy walk to most of the places to see in Nuremberg (the old city is quite small), and there is a lot to do. I particularly recommend the New Museum, which is a 5 minute walk from the hotel. The breakfast buffet was excellent, and parking convenient (if a little steep). Internet is not free but the service was one of the best I've had in a hotel--very fast indeed--and not as expensive as many other places at which I've stayed. It can also be billed to the room, which is convenient. The only downers at this hotel are the lack of free internet and parking, but this is not a deal breaker, particularly with the Expedia price. Overall costs were less than at other comparable hotels in Nuremberg, and we got a nice room and a great breakfast. Another small downer is no refrigerator, which is a little surprising for a hotel of this quality, but there is a redeeming factor: an ice machine in the lobby (just ask the bartender for an ice bucket). In my experience this is extremely rare (what is with Europeans and ice?). This is a nice hotel, and I would definitely stay there again.

“German Efficiency”

The Park Inn Nuremberg is one of the better hotels I stayed in on my around-the-world trip. The room was quite large, I had a nice view from my window, everything was spotlessly clean. There was no iron in my room, but within five minutes of me asking for one at the desk, I got it. The wi-fi connection was very good and stable, and the room was climate controlled, which was good as it was summer. I have read some reviews around when picking this hotel that reviewers could smell cigarette smoke, etc. Well, my nose is very sensitive to cigarette smoke, and I never encountered that - I had a non-smoking floor, and everything was perfect. The hotel is not in the old city, but it is a few minutes walk from the walls of the old city, and I timed my walk to the U-Bahn station at the Wiesser Turm (well in the old city), and with my suitcase, backpack, and laptop bag, it took ten minutes. There is an even closer station on the S-Bahn, Steinbuhl, and you can even see the hotel from the train. I didn't take the breakfast deal, and ate out all the time, but it looked very clean, and the bar area was very nice, and busy as the World Cup was on. I thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Nuremberg, and I would certainly book again when I go back one day.

“Best hotel we stayed at in 3 weeks stay in Germany”

Brand new, has individual heat and air conditioning (never seen that before in Germany), fantastic breakfast buffet, flatscreen TV and get this - and ice machine near the lobby! Room was small by north american standards but perfectly fine and super clean. Walkable distance to old city, museums and main train station. We loved this place

Room was small but very clean. Although a non-smoking room was requested the room smelled heavily of cigarette smoke. Spent just one night there before traveling on to Stuttgart. Hotel was within a very easy walk to to the old town and a short taxi ride (or walk) to the bahnhof. Personnel were friendly and helpful. Very, very basic hotel but clean and quiet. Did not purchase breakfast. Thought 17 euro was a little steep. Ate our meals in the old town restaurants.

“Nurnberg Xmas Markets”

Good quality hotel in an ideal location. Close to the railway station (about 10 minutes walk) and close to the old town if you are visiting the Xmas Markets (about 15 minute walk). Hotel very clean and modern, we only stayed for 2 nights so storage space was not an issue, however, if you plan to stay longer be aware that you will have to live out of your suitcase - there are no drawers or cupboards to store anything. Breakfast was great, large selection both hot and cold. Staff were all very pleasent and helpful. In summary, I would recommend this hotel to other travellers and if we return to Nurnberg we would stay here again.
