Ideal hotel as a base to see Nurnberg and region. Very clean, comfortable and friendly. Lovely location in the heart of the old town. there are no real restaurant facilities but breakfast is good and snacks are available, and ther are plenty of good places to eat within a few hundred yards (starting next door!). Highly reccomended at the price.

The hotel is in a perfect location in old Nuremberg. The staff was very courteous. Free breakfast was great. A great place to stay.

“Excellent location, hotel, and staff”

This is a super hotel. Located in the Old City, within walking distance of all the sights. The staff is friendly and will offer suggestions as to where to visit or dine. The rooms are very clean and the buffet breakfast is terrific. They also offer free use of the lobby pc with their wireless hookup. I will stay here again whenever I visit the area.

Quiet little hotel set off on a side street and within walking distance of some of Nuernberg's most important sights. The place was very clean, and the staff was very very friendly & helpful. Not to mention the breakfast that they laid out, I want there and paid for breakfast even while staying with friends. Worth every penny!

“Great Place for your First Visit to Germany”

The hotel is situated in a secluded area of the Old City of Nürenberg, Germany. Walking distance to Museum, churches and areas of interest, as well as restaurants and shopping. It is great if you want to be away from the hustle and busle of city noise and want to relax enjoy your stay. The staff were courteous and helpful.

Fantastic place to say alone or with a group. Hotel staff was more than accommodating and breakfast was fantastic. Perfect location if you're staying without a car and want to walk everywhere. I recommend this hotel without hesitation

“Brief but Great Stay”

We loved the location of this hotel, within the old city walls and just below the castle. Weren't quite sure what to expect but exceded any expectations. We were there for only one night during a very hot spell and were concerned about no air conditioning, but our room cooled off nicely with the large windows open. Great variety on the tasty and beautiful breakfast buffet. Wish we could have stayed longer!

“Quiet hotel in Nuremberg Altstadt”

Good location in Nuremberg Altstadt. Within walking distance to Kaiserburg. Good breakfast. Beds okay. Not the fanciest hotel, but clean. No air conditioning (but unnecessary in winter, which is when I went). Charge for internet service, breakfast, phone calls seemed fairly reasonable. Quiet street. Will definitely stay there again upon subsequent visits.

The parking is very tight but the location is excellent. The room is somewhat small but clean and functional. Great staff and fabulous breakfast.

“Comfort in the heart of old Nuremberg”

We were in walking distance of all the most famous and interesting sites of the Old City. Staff service was friendly and accommodating. The optional breakfast buffet was good, fresh, and a nice convenience. In September 2011, this was a great place to stay in a neighborhood that has seen centuries of art and commerce. Arguably the best restaurant for traditional Franconian fare is on the corner, and a short walk past that is the Albrecht Durer house. Pubs, restaurants, museums, galleries, and shops abound on nearby streets, but the Agnesgasse is a small and quiet street tucked between Albrecht Durer Platz and Albrect Durer Strasse. This will be my choice again.
